Not as good as previous years....

I have used TurboTax for years for both Federal and State taxes. This year I cannot use this product to file Oregon and Hawaii tax returns and must resort to the ancient paper forms for Fiduciary Tax Returns...

minor issues with transfer of data.. Wish it could go into banks and down load 1099s. Over all it was smooth and easy to input by hand data. Good feedback on errors.

Special Need Trust.

The Step by Step interview in Turbo Tax for Business does not adequately cover complex trusts for beneficiaries who qualify for Special Needs (disability) treatment. The interview initially only asks if the trust is complex or simple. Later on it asks if the trust type is "other" but it is logical to answer no there since a special needs trust is a complex trust. If you do not answer other and then select Special Needs you will only get a $100 income exemption as opposed to the $4300 income exemption that a Special Needs (disability) trust is entitiled to.

I've never had so much trouble with a TurboTax product. It would be much nicer if this product was made for either MacOS or Linux OS Windows 10 is an abominiation to work on.
