Not like TurboTax personal versions

I have used TurboTax for over 20 years. This is the first time I had to use the Business edition for my late mother's trusts. I was VERY disappointed. It is MUCH more difficult to use that the personal editions I was used to. There is no "walk thru", you have to know what you are doing. Overall, it was better than doing it by hand, but obviously TurboTax does not spend much on development of the Business version.

TurboTaxBusiness is very helpful for Trusts

The paperwork for trusts is nightmarish, even if they earn little and pay little in taxes. My accountant last year charged much more than it cost to get TurboTax Business, so this was a significant improvement, cost-wise.
I am not sure why TTB seems to be unable to import my 1099-B or does not offer me the option to summarize small transactions of the same type on different dates, or even of different stocks with similar features. Entering over 100 stock transactions, many less than a few dollars, was exhausting (and online people with more investments complain about thousands of transactions). There must be a way around this, since even Form 8949 says that you can aggregate them (but TurboTax didn't tell me this until I viewed the final pdf of my return). If there was a way around this in TTB, it certainly wasn't obvious, even in the help. Other than that, it was great to have have TTB find and fill out the needed forms, since half the battle is figuring out which forms you need, and the other half is reading through reams of instructions to understand terms and to figure out which parts are relevant and how to fill them out.

TurboTax was very difficult to work with this year

Seems like there were some glitches with certain aspects of the business return. For Example on one of my forms it prefilled my business name on the first line and then also on line for second business name. I tried repeatedly to delete this second business name with no luck, so I ended up just leaving it.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

CPA Support for Business Tax

I was told that Turbotax business will no longer provide CPA support on the Business software. This is so sad, definitely not a good idea, as I've talked to many awesome CPA. Most small business owner like myself who has very simple 1120s tax, sometimes just need to talk to CPA to find out where to enter the number in the form that's why we choose Turbotax business over CPA firm. It also provide business owner to better understanding on their tax.

Love the product capabilities but.....

I love the capabilities for the product but some of the fields don't work properly. After working with tech support I figured out how to get the fields correct.
