Turbo Tax Business is awesome!

I have used Turbo Tax to file my personal and my business returns for years. I would recommend both programs to anyone that wants to e-file these returns. These programs make filing tax returns a relatively painless process. Thank you Turbo Tax!

Not easy. Assumes prior knowledge of needed form.

I will be using an accountant next year. This was not clear cut and simple and I would rather pay extra than to have to navigate your program again for my mother's irrevocable trust.

Always use Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for well over 30 years, saving many dollars, as I am not paying someone else to complete the return I am able to do myself. Thank you for making the program user friendly along with the calculations accurate.

Turbo Tax Disappointment

I was deeply disappointed I had to buy this TT business program after already paying about $100 for Turbo Tax Home and Business! This was because I had to do an estate filing for my Father-in-law's estate.

Good but with some frustrations

Overall, it was good. Not as friendly as the website interface, but still usable. Some frustrations did occur though, among them:
- An inability to enter an 1099-OID as you can on turbotax's personal income tax product
- The name of the Trust was too long for NYS but not too long for Fed, so the returns refused to submit. But the screen showing me the error on the NYS form also locked me out from changing it. I could go to the first worksheet and change it for both even though it was only too long for one but the legal name is the longer name so I'd prefer it to be right on at least one return. I eventually went into the 'form' view and found an 'override' option, but this was frustrating and not intuitive. I should have been offered an override from the step-by-step error screen.
- No ability to directly contact a financial institution to download 1099 data, as can be done with turbotax's personal income tax product.

Turbo Tax Business

It was more complicated than expected. However after several tries learned how to navigate on the desktop version. Might opt to take tax return to a tax preparer next year.
