Trust Tax Return Confusing

Turbo Tax not very good for processing a simple final trust tax return. Explanations are not very clear. Found myself guessing on many of the questions and options. Definitely not for someone who is not a tax accountant.

Bugs in update procedures make e-filing difficult

I have used TurboTax (and its predecessor, MacInTax) for my personal taxes since the 1990s. I have used TurboTax Business since I became a trustee in 2015. The 2019 and 2020 versions of TurboTax, especially Business, have terrible bugs in the automatic AND manual update processes that require Windows expertise to work around. I tried to update many times, both automatically and manually, and after finally getting the manual update to work I still could not e-file any returns because the program thought updates were available but still not installed. I finally had to uninstall the program and reinstall from scratch, then apply the manual updates. This is not acceptable. I intend to ask for at least a 50% discount on next year's version.

TurboTax State is Terrible

TurboTax offers no instructions or assistance in completing state returns and forms. Even the most basic of instructions for any of the forms is non-existent. The user has to search the internet for state form instructions which are impossible to comprehend.
