TurboTax could use improvements

There were a few times when I had questions where the answers were not available in the program. The "jump to" feature did not work.

TurboTax is AWESOME!

Up until filing for 2020, we've been using H&R Block's business filing software and I can't tell you how difficult it was. It took three straight years of using their software to just get used to it. It requires such studious attention to understand what they were asking for. On the other hand, TurboTax WAS A BREEZE. Granted, I had several more years under my belt of filing business taxes but I can still remember pulling my hair out using HRB's product for the first couple of years. We did it because HRB's product is much cheaper and now I know why. Using TurboTax's product was well worth the added cost. :) Btw, we were
going to use HRB's product for 2020 until I had to call support to ask a couple of questions. I was on hold for about 20 minutes and then when the call went through, the line cut out. I tried calling a second time and this time it didn't even go through. I immediately called TurboTax and not only was there no hold time (I did call well before the tax season even began), they even transferred me to professional expert on filing business returns. There's no going back now. LOL.

Wish you had OR-41 return for state available!!

2020 Business - Could Not E-file. ANNOYING!!!

Preparing the 1041 and 541 for the Trust Returns was fine. However, the program COMPLETELY FAILED when it came time to E-file the Federal 1041 Return. I tried everything possible to make it work, and the only result was intense frustration. So, I had to dial the clock back to the Flintstones era to print and mail the return. It seems moronic that a program allows one to prepare the Returns electronically, but is so dysfunctional at filing the Return electronically. C'mon Turbo Tax ... sort it out!!!

TurboTax for Business has limitations

I use TurboTax Business to prepare fiduciary returns. I have found several limitations:
1. The Business version cannot import 1099's from brokerage firms.
2. Cannot attach broker statements to the return when E-filing fiduciary return, as required when making summary entries on form 8949.
3. Cannot e-file California State Fiduciary Return.

I shouldn't have to search for Forms in State of Az.... Turbo Tax should generate it without my having to do the search - just pitifu. And for this I paid $55!

It's OK

It's good enough, but can definitely be challenging. I feel like I experience problems when I get to the end. I'll go through the final check/review (usually 2 times) and the system will say everything looks good and I don't have any errors. But then right before I push print or e-file, I get an error message stating my return contains errors. Well, why didn't the errors show up in the final check and review? It's annoying trying to figure out where your errors are if the system doesn't identify them

clumsy and inefficient

The program has lots of unnecessary clicks. Don't make me click through 5 pages of telling me how great a job you're doing checking things. Put that on one page. Also, instead of waiting until the end at filing to tell me that I need the fiduciary phone number and PIN, ask for them up front. Also, the error check screen doesn't allow me to edit the field. I have to go find the form and edit it there. All said, a poorly executed program UI.
