Turbo Tax Business needs the auto upload feature!

Unlike the Turbo Tax Personal Income Tax software, the Business version does not allow for automatic upload of information from 1099's and other financial institution documents. This results in a very time consuming filing process.

There's a reason why I've used TurboTax since 80s

I'm a long time user of TurboTax. I have used most of the tax prep applications available to the general public as well as several professional tax applications and have found TurboTax's sequential programming superior to all the others with the fewest technical issues or problems. I have noted that a vast majority of professional tax accountants and lawyers (my cohorts) personally use TurboTax, too. I have to say that I do remember a couple of marketing missteps that TurboTax made early on, but only refer to these errors so they won't forget about them nor try them again someday.

Simple Trust Tax Filing

It's easy to prepare the 1041 for my parents trust. The three areas that would improve TurboTax for Business would be (1) allow for importing of financial information, e.g., dividends, sales of assets, and (2) make it easier to find the estimated tax payments for the next year. TurboTax does transfers information from 2020 automatically without asking me if I need to update any of the information. I had to search the program to find the place to update net years' estimates. (3) It would be nice if TurboTax had a simple (and cheaper) product for easy trust 1041 filings, since I did not need all the bells and whistles for a regular business tax filing.

Okay but not spectacular

I use TTBusiness simply to prepare a Form 1041 trust return. Over the years, I have found it necessary to use several workarounds. It's okay, but expensive for this simple use. And, after 4 years of promising, still no TTBusiness for Mac.
