Much improved version

1) The process of entering a foreign tax credit carry forward is not an easy one and certainly not intuitive. It should be easier.
2) I should be able to efile more than 5 returns, even if I need to pay extra for each one after the first five. That limitation is a killer for me, as I need to file 8 Trust returns.
3) Also, the fact that you cannot file the Utah return, neither paper nor electronic, is pathetic and should be made into a warning outside the box.

No e-file for California Form 568

I have been using Turbo Tax for nearly 20 years. As a California Taxpayer who runs a Single Member LLC that is reported on Schedule C, I am close to switching to another solution next year, as Turbo Tax does not support e-file of California Form 568. The California Franchise Tax Board now requires e-file of this form, with a $900 Penalty for failure to e-file, unless a special waiver is approved. There's no telling how long the FTB will automatically approve such waivers, so it's prudent for me to look at other solutions if Turbo Tax will not enable e-file of CA Form 568 for 2021.

Premier should have Estates/Trusts

With the cost of Premier, it should include Estates/Trusts. Cheaper to use a CPA than do do Premier + Business

Still need to review the instructions from the State of Illinois for a 1041 in order to try to make sense of what entry is needed. This program needs some additional help/work in programming to ask the right questions to distribute income for Fiduciary vs State of Illinois

Doesn't work with Quickbooks Online

Although this program provides great step by steps and informative quick links, it does not import info from Quickbooks online (only Quickbooks desktop) and so we had to hand- key everything! Pro is that we were able to file our taxes and they were accurate, but it took significantly longer.

TurboTax is highly inaccurate

UI issues (two radio buttons selected at same time?!), making up numbers out of thin air (percent of income taxable at state level), and failure to carry over trust distribution from fed to state. BE CAREFUL!!!
