Too Expensive and Hidden Charges

My tax form from last year loaded, made literally 3 changes to deductions and printed the form... wondered why I paid $170... then you got me again for another $55 for state. Last year i'm using this when I can get a accountant for about the same amount.

When attempting to file return extensions for federal, state and local, it is not obvious how. After indicating your desire to do extensions, the response screen advises the preparer as to the who to file with and is underscored (for clicking) with 2 buttons below for "back" and "Continue". To e-file, why is it necessary to have log into Quickbooks?

Worst software ever!

Intuit hasnt updated this software in years. Its completely buggy. Only runs on PC. Forces you to buy an additional state filing and those state filings barely work. I had to manually delete a form that wasn't even listed on the forms to be sent in my return in order to stop the review from erroring out each time. This software is crap and Intuit should be ashamed.

I wish that TurboTax used the same lingo as the actual tax forms or QuickBooks. My partners and I were all so confused and frustrated. It took us a few weeks to get everything in while having to learn new lingo! It was a mess. We hope that next year will go much better now that we have all the lingos written down.

Can this be any more outdated????

This product is inferior to any other turbotax or intuit product I have ever used. A handful of questions took me ages to read, it's WAY overpriced for what it does, and it makes you visit the same screens multiple times. Additionally, you have to manually sign and also SAVE another PDF and upload it. Thank goodness I am young and could figure it out. Very dissapointed.
