Not quite as good as in the past

It's now late March and I'm just filing for my Subchapter S business, but I was getting tripped up by the "final" Form 1120S (1,2), 1120S (3-5) and K-1 not yet being available. And the automatic updating didn't work. So I had to muck around until I found the Manual update, which then did work. Big waste of time

Need additional Features,

I use TT Business to file the tax returns for my kids Trust. Not having the ability to download information from sources is a major pain and available in every other TT product. Also this program does not show the total tax information on the screen nor the state tax information. The only way to see it is to open in forms mode and look at the final tax number. To charge $55 for states now is crazy, when in my case, the state information was retrieved from federal which included sale of stock. None of the Edit buttons worked when It told me I had to add additional information for those sales. I had to go to forms view to see what was needed. This has lost quality from previous years.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Bug in K1 PDF preparation

Software saves a bunch of time which is great. But it is a good thing I pay attention to what documents are created for beneficiaries. When the software creates the PDF files for the K-1 for Fed and State, it does NOT include (as it must) the Statement that is supposed to go with K-1 for the Fed when applicable. I have to go to the saved PDF of the return itself and print each Statement that goes with the K-1

TurboTax Business Needs Updating

It's time to enable importing from financial institutions into TurboTax Business. Too much time spent manually entering investment sales in Schedule D.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

TurboTax Improvelement for Trusts
on March 29, 2021

Unable to go back to "income" or "deductions" once one gets to end. Unable to open these tabs to put in new information. Have to start from the beginning and go through each form. Inefficient for us users. I also do not like the cost for Trusts for preparing State Trust Returns. Too costly, if I need to file a State I fill in form by hand.

Shareholder contributions (e.g., Paid-in-Capital) is NOT asked about during the interview in TurboTax Business however; IT MUST BE! If not, this could be easily missed...
