Sucks, but what's the alternative?

My two biggest issues are: 1) why is this Business version only available as a download instead of an online product like everything else? The online versions for personal tax returns save everything in one place and don't need updates - way more convenient and less risky. Two years ago my hard drive crashed after filing my return so the next year I had to rebuild everything from scratch, including depreciation schedules and all corp. info. At every prompt in the program I save files to a thumb drive. But pdf's are not machine readable files. How was I to know that? 2) I downloaded the software straight from the TurboTax website the same day that I started working on my return but I still had to download "updates" not once, but twice before I could file my return a week later.

TurboTax is Challenging if you aren't a CPA

I thought this was a bit challenging as I have no CPA background. The questions weren't clearly explained, and it was difficult to determine how to answer quite a few of the questions. I don't feel it was as user friendly as everyone advertised.

zero activity tax return on partnership 1065 was accepted by feds yet indigestible by state. we need to talk about this but turbotax lacked expertise to discuss even rudimentary questions on Partnership Income 1065 Form.

Need to add import from QBO

Either I went to fast or It didnt present me what I was tuck on sooner but it took me 4 days to figure out short year tax for my company

This year's Taxes were very different!

I had no idea how much or how little I would have to pay in Taxes this year. So many things were not normal. Turbo Tax walked me through all of the issues. Thank-you.
