Turbo Tax is one of the easier software programs to follow when preparing taxes. I use it for business and personal taxes, going into my 17th year.

TurboTax Business made 1st time S Corp filing easy

Closed trust as trustee - worked great!

Took over as successor trustee on my mother's trust after death of my death. Turbo Tax Business walked me through everything I needed to finish estate, issue K-1's, and close out the trust.

Turbotax is your GPS in the IRS maze!

I use only turbotax for my 38 yr old S CORP, as well as my personal taxes. They are to me as I am to my customers; reliable and always helpful. This morning, before sunrise, BILL H. clarified some things for me and I was able to finish my tax return. It's great to have an advocate between me and the IRS.

Federal Is Great -- State (IL) Could Be Better

Federal was pretty straight forward with, for the most part, a very good wizard for filling the 1120 (C) forms out.
IL State (extra fee) left a lot to be desired -- specifically with the NOL not being populated or even asked/suggested. Having filed for several years, including last year, using Turbo Tax, I would expect that to be better handled. It would have been missed had I not been burned by it three years back where had to check with a CPA and file an amendment after Turbo Tax skipped the NOL carry forwards then.
