Another wonderful year with Turbo Tax

Great experience. The only glitch was my Texas Franchise Tax which is on a different schedule from the Federal business tax. Once I understood the messages Turbo Tax was sending me all was well.

Very difficult to use

With the regular Turbo Tax, they spent a lot of time making sure it is easy to use and except for the Obamacare nonsense, it is easy to use. This one you need to be an accountant to figure out. The requested information is not well explained and you get stuck in endless loops of error with seeming no way to fix it until you get frustrated enough to hire a CPA.

TURBO TAX IS GREAT

Turbo Tax has many improvements that made filing easier than ever. When going back in to change information it doesn't mess everything up anymore. A lot of the requested information no longer requires research to know what they are asking.

can't attach 1099b

Last year I was able to attach two 1099b and this year it seems that functionality is no longer available. I was shocked that the interview and help says that it will guide you through the process and it is no where to be found. I'm glad I was not in a rush to file and stopped myself before hitting the button to file. Searched for a solution and the suggestion was to include 1099s together with 8453FE which takes additional software. Two hours of my life I'll never get back. This software seems not to be their focus.

depreciation needs work

I had problem getting turbo tax to take correct depreciation figures to balance sheet-
i fixed balance sheet manually - then when I printed return different figures were on my depreciation sheets
