not as good as before. State tax is bad.

I have been using Turbo Tax for more than 10 years. Turbo Tax is not as good as it used to be. State Tax always got some problem, the software has bugs.

I love Turbo Tax!

This is my second year doing Turbo Tax Business and it was even easier than the first because all of my information transferred from last year! There were a couple of areas I had to look up information and wished there would have been an "explain this" in a couple of places, but it wasn't a big deal looking it up and overall is was a great process.

Good Software, though not as polished as Online

I really like TurboTax and have used it on and off for years. I have tried accountants but felt like I spend about the same amount of time answering their questions (typically paper questions) as filling out TurboTax. This is my first time with TurboTax Business. Used it for a very small S-corp. TurboTax Business is good though not as polished as the online Home version, though this doesn't really matter. I feel like the other versions of TurboTax do a better job explaining different tax questions and implications. I will definitely use it next year.

Not so great

To start with, finding a downloadable copy was not easy. Kept getting referred to on line filing. Still not sure how I finally stumbled into what I needed.
As for the program itself, why no ability to import financial information as with the personal products? Would make things a lot easier. Also, when I get to the end and try to save or print copies, it indicates errors? Ran "error check" twice, it said no errors? Finally had to switch to Forms, and find errors individually. Filing instructions are leave something to be desired. Assuming I have to send all 49 pages printed, although that seems excessive.

Turbo Tax Business had severe problems this year

Turbo Tax Business was easy to use, but would not let me electronically file my Virginia State Return. Efiling is required in Virginia. Caused me a 2 day delay - had to do a work around to get it filed. Will NOT use Turbo Tax Business next year!!!! At the price they charge, it is expected to work it to work at all levels, especially the transmission of the return!!!

Need Estate Tax program

Using the business software for estates isn't ideal. TurboTax need to invest in creating an estate specific product.
