PA State Return Poor

Federal Partnership Return works well but PA State is very poorly programmed and requires you to answer questions or fill out forms without any guidance from TurboTax. Would be easier and you could trust results more if you simply got the instructions and filed manually.

Turbo Tax is Overpriced!

This procuct, TurboTax Business is way overpriced! Add to that the fact that every year they raise the price. Starting next year I am now going to use other alternatives. It is just not worth it anymore.

Needs Improvement

I had a do loop where this was requiring me to fill in an apportionment method in Virginia 502A even though I only do business in VA and no other state. I finally just allocated 100% to VA. When reading data in from Quickbooks Turbotax rounds everything causing rounding errors and you have to manually adjust. This is an annoyance that should be fixed. When reading in the data from Quickbooks Turbotax incorrectly suggests that I include all shareholder distributions from company inception as distributions for the current year. It should be able to determine and correctly input only current year shareholder distributions. Using Turbotax is still better than not using software but it could be much better.

I have been using TurboTax for 20 years. I use a Mac and don't understand why you don't make TurboTax for business to be used on a Mac???? You have QuickBooks for Mac. How do you file a tax return on Windows when your QuickBooks is on a Mac???????????????? You have to buy or steal or otherwise procure a Windows machine and transfer all the info onto that, just to file a tax return once a year. Stop making your customers do that, please.
