Business Tax program for LLC

Business tax pckg (for LLC, S-corp, etc) is an excellent pckg. Guides you through complex tax documents with relative ease. It did take a while to get updates for K-1 forms this year, but they came in through an update. I recommend Business Turbo Tax for all small business owners

IRS & State of CA Business S-Corp

On review had to go through it about 10 times and change items Didn't know from first correction what it was affecting Very frustrated with CA
On Federal I already had an IRS S-Corp letter and didn't need to attach an application Program kept circling back to that command

Turbo Tax has Error preventing e-filing

Can't file NJ Corporate Return because of software error. Software is self selecting additional forms that "may be required" and requiring they be completed. These include tax elections we are not electing!

Great at Times but Not so Always

Generally really like TurboTax but this year (2020) it twice added forms not required and caused me some effort to remove the invalid forms. Also, I could not figure how to easily rerun the check of my state return without going back through entire state process...a royal pain. Also, when I went to eFile, it suggested I print some (required?) forms for review first. I tried and it said I had some errors even though both Federal and State reviews said all was fine. So I reviewed Federal and it was fine. Tried to review state but had to go through entire state process just to get to the review phase. State was fine also so skipped the print before efiling (where it had given me an error) and all went fine thereafter.
Form 3554-S was created and added to my return even though it was not needed and, yes, I had not filled out any data incorrectly to get it added. Had to manually delete that form before filing.
In general federal portion seemed great but state portion was a pain.
