TurboTax Business was terrible

I was preparing a LLP tax return and the program reported 6 errors, which no matter what information I input, would not clear the errors. Incredibly frustrating, and there was no help to address how to get out of this error loop. My worst experience in 8 years.

Explanations are bare-bones - hard to follow

I was expecting a lot more help and guidance for filing these taxes. The explanations for most fields left a lot to the imagination, or raised more questions than it answered. More examples or explanations would have been helpful - this left me feeling very uncertain.

Definitely Helpful and Fast

Hopefully I won't have a problem getting my return accepted, and if not, then TurboTax Business just saved me tons time and the expense of working with an accountant. Ideally, if I could have uploaded last year's return (not done through TurboTax) that would have been better so I could follow what the accountant did... but I figured it out. Again, hopefully I did it right and won't have a problem. Now I just need to coordinate with regular Turbo Tax on my 1040, which should be easy from here on out. Glad I gave this a try!

It could be lot easier

First year return with a trust. Been a Turbotax user for 20 years. Then I find out that simple investment accounts will not download from Fidelity. Works just fine in regular Turbotax, but the business edition has NO option to download. You already have the software created, just include it.

Turbo Tax Bisiness

Worked like last year. The State is the PROBLEM. Everything is entered into the Federal return but does not carry over the entries for the return. Only the basics like name ect. You have to re type all the P&L and Balance sheet over all again.

NO e file for state. what is the point of paying $60 when we have to do everything manually. Product is very costly for 0 taxes .

TurboTax skipping state tax filing

I prepared tax return for both federal and state using Turbotax business. Federal e-file screens worked fine and showed as e-filing completed. There were no automatic screen navigation for state filing. I paid for state tax preparation, so Turbo tax should display the status for state tax return. I manually selected state tax return from the menu and found I had to do it separately, there were no indication for state return was pending.
