TurboTax Business is great for Trusts!

As the trustee for a living trust, I previously was forking out the bucks to have a popular firm prepare the annual tax return. After several years of dealing with their issues (delays, lack of communication, etc), I decided to see if I could prepare the trusts return on my own. I was a bit worried at first since I was afraid of being overwhelmed with business income/deductions/etc that my own return never had. I have used TurboTax for my personal return for nearly 30 years , so I decided to give TurboTax Business a shot -- best decision I ever made!! The program is just as easy to use as the personal one. I love the step-by-step handholding and I was able to plug in the numbers, generate the K-1's and file the fed/state returns promptly (early February vs mid-to-late March). If you're a trustee/fiduciary that normally outsources tax return preparation, I suggest giving TurboTax Business a shot.

Getting questions answered about the actual software, not taxes was difficult. I will still use it since it's been so many years, but I won't be recommending

Very easy to use

I have been using Turbotax business for a few years now for my S corp taxes and I love the user interface and the ease of use. Also Turbotax will automatically transfer info from your prior returns and save you a ton of time. I highly recommend this software for filing your S corp taxes.
