TurboTax Business was a disappointment

Not a lot of help offered by the software compared to the personal product, especially for the state product. The state product for instance, asked me to answer questions like is my business liable for income taxes? Franchise taxes? This is an example of something I would certainly expect the software to help me with.

Turbo Tax Business S Corp

Relatively easy to use. The best for uber small businesses. Much cheaper than paying a CPA. Some familiarity with accounting and taxes is helpful, as built in help does not always explain clearly or completely.

I've used this for way over 10 years. Works great, even the occasional glitch has always had some work around. Didn't need to call tech support this year, but they have been very helpful in the past.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Program does not cover final distribution of Trust

Generally the program is helpful but Trusts seem to be a bit of an afterthought. IN program help is not available for a number of items, like the difference between required distributions and other distributions. Needs to address final distribution of trust assets.

Our State form was caught in a loop.

The State form would would not let me e-file without correcting a form that was not applicable to me. We finally thought to Google it and found that others had the same problem and said to fill out the form then delete it. I am unhappy that this took me an extra hour to find the solution.
