Estate Return -- so far, so good

I was pleased to file a relatively simple Estate Tax return using TurboTax, K-1 distribution form and all. This was what I was looking for. and saved me some $. Just filed so we will see, but am pretty confident both state and federal returns were OK and will be accepted as is.

Turbo Tax was Terrible

Had to spend two days loading and unloading programs. Seems the Premiere Version cannot exist along side Business. Finally got that finished and ready to print but it wouldn't print. Another day on the phones bouncing between Just Answer and Turbo Tax. Finally had to figure out a boot leg printing option. Have been a customer for over 20 years but going somewhere else next year,

glitch still not fixed with partnership rep efile

last year I had the sane exact issue with it going into error when i tried to efile. partnership representative question told me to fill in info then refused to efile when i did. i had to change the ss number for myself to an employer id format . please fix this issue!!!

The experience with the Turbo Tax Business is not quite good. Lot of issues and errors in the software. The questions were not clearly worded. Lot of ambiguity in the questions.

Not enough Guidance on Covid-19 Grants/Loans

There was no guidance on how to handle PPP loans/EIDL grants/etc... so I had to spend a lot of time researching these things outside of the program.

2020 was nightmare for me

this was a terrible experience. my corporate return was not located in your system. when i used my ID and password it said not right so i changed the PW which set up new account..from then on my email was with teh new account and even after 4 hours with two different people i had to just DOWNLOAD a new 1120 package and start 2020 without my 2019 data. Next year i hope will be better. Last year and 2018 were fine. i hope my 1040 is smoother.

TT Business a great deal for Federal Returns - BUT

TT Business a great deal for Federal Returns - For a single purchase I can file returns for multiple LLC types - Partnership, C-Corp, and S-Corp. as well as Trust & Estate returns ....
BUT when it comes to State returns, you have to spend $55 for each state - entity type combination ... which can be in the 1,000's even for a small business !
Why not have a $75 state package - that allows all entity types per state? ...
Or a $75 entity type package - that allows for all states, or up to 5 states? ...
Or ... any other "packages" that would keep the cost reasonable?

I guess Profits are more important than Small Business Clients !
