Fed went fine, state was another matter

The federal filing process went fine but the state of Georgia process had issues. At first it wouldn't even let me file, saying it was waiting on forms and then today, 3 days before due date, the process went into a endless loop and would not allow me to e-file. Ended up just printing the state return out and will mail it.

Intuit Security is difficult to navigate

Using Turbotax Businessm, I was asked to enter my password, but without access to my password manager. The access should have been on the Intuit website so I could access my saved password. Then when I signed-up for Intuit advantage, I was required to create yet another Intuit ID/password. You need to consolidate all your logins in a central login interface.

Twenty First Century

There is no reason why the owner of the same product can not allow for QuickBooks online to export into turbo tax. We are in the age of Twenty First Century technology where you are advertising and pushing people to go to QuickBooks online and not use desktop version. But yet you have to manually import the information into Turbo Tax still. unbelievable.

TurboTax is expensive

TurboTax is expensive for what it provides, a poor man's (or woman's) solution for filing tax returns. Soooo many things that are lacking. Less pretty aesthetics and MORE explanations are needed - like HOW to use the form fields. Instead, one has to figure it out through trial and error.

A little more challenging this year with Covid and all the Cares ACT monies. Also, then California had to handle things differently. With online advice, I hope it is all correct.

FORMS NOT UPDATED SOON EOUGH

SOME NY STATE S CORP FORMS (CT-34-SH)ARE NOT UPDATED AND AVAILABLE FOR USE UNTIL THE VERY LAST MOMENT CLOSE TO THE DUE DATE FOR FILING.
