Not to Happy with it.

Turbo tax is good for filing your simply basic returns but it can be complicated when you are filling a more complex return. Their is a lot of hidden information that you still have go go out and search. One major disappointment is that state tax filling. Turbo tax for business does not have the capabilities to EFILE a 1120 for WV which is understandable but they don't tell you that until you have downloaded and paid for the software. The other disappointment is the pricing. The amount you are paying to get your taxes done through turbo tax is almost the same to what a tax professional charges. Why should I do my own taxes when I can have a professional due them for me for almost the same price? I will definitely consider other alternatives for next years filling.

Not the Easiest Way to Do Your Taxes

Turbo tax used to be a lot easier to use. It is not as intuitive as it used to be and there are not as many ways to get explanations on things you may need more clarification on before selecting the right box or form.

Fatal Error First Time Through

I had error 1603 which wouldn't allow updates. I ultimately had to uninstall and reinstall and then program worked, and I was able to e-file.

Turbo Tax Business Worked Well

A good, comprehensive program to file Federal and state returns for an LLC and to distribute K-1's. I was surprised to learn that it is also capable of filing W-2's.

State E-File issue

Problem with Georgia State E-file Return. The Turbo Tax states that I need to fix the "film" tax credit portion of the state return which I specifically checked the box that states that I do not have any tax credit. The TT kept circling back to the portion of tax credit as error and kept circling back to the tax credit and will not get to the portion where I can e-mail the state return.
FYI - My Federal tax e-mail worked just fine.
