Please Modify TurboTax Business for Ease of Use

Please modify TurboTax Business to allow it to import the supporting data text from last year's return for the Categories of 'Other Deductions' (They are: Accounting, Amortization, Automobile and truck expense..that are included on 1120S, Line 19). It will make a difference for me next year.

turbo tax could make it easier

the quickbooks to turbotax needs work. The tax assignment links are to limited. I file a 1065 with farming as the primary business. nothing in the tax assignment links makes this happen. I like both programs as stand-a-lones but i will no longer do a download from Quickbooks. I spend way to much time undoing the information and putting it in the correct locations. also the balance sheet information does not come over at all. lastly, the partnership ownership percentage information is buried and can only be accessed from the forms view only after digging around the form

Your fed product is great but the CA state product was awful. It had me completing forms and documents that have zero to do with my return, so I need to file paper rather than electronic as it wont transmit.

I use TT Business for our multi partner LLC. I enjoy doing the taxes myself and not being charged a ton of money after getting all the paperwork and hard stuff together first.

I'm responsible for filing taxes for our LLC and Turbo Tax Business was easy to use with clear instructions and explanations. It beats Tax Act by a mile! Not even a competition.

Improved, but program error

No link to attach the pdf of the 1099-B. Kept hoping it would appear as in previous years, but zoom, tax return went out e-filed without the necessary 1099-B attached. THAT'S GOING TO BE A PROBLEM when the IRS rejects the filing or calls for a written audit.
Numerous other difficulties with forms that took a lot of time to regenerate with changes or corrections. Schedule D would not change when I tried to add in a wash-sale adjustment to basis that the 8949 could not handle. Had to do manual override. Then got bollixed up with Schedule D not updating. Finally deleted the Schedule D and started over.
