Forms not ready

Forms that were needed for generating schedule K-1 forms were not ready.. Had to wait weeks to download them. Price for state returns is ridiculously high. Will look for new program after 20 years waiting on turbotax to get their act together.

System flaw in TurboTax Business

The process was easy enough, but it took 4 hours with a wonderful TurboTax employee (Antionette M) to figure out how to 'trick the system' to make it go through. The system was not accepting my TIN/EIN as a disengaged entity - one of two partners in a multiple member LLC. Fingers crossed that it is accepted by the IRS. If Turbo Tax does not fix this flaw, I will not be back.

My First Federal S-Corp Form

This was my first time doing S-Corp taxes myself and so I was very worried that it would be easy enough for me to understand and complete. Well just as Turbo Tax says, it will walk you through it all and offer help and it did just that. I completed them in one day and saved me $500 over using a tax accountant like I had done the year before. Thank you Turbo Tax!

New York State form problems

The NY State forms didn't work as downloaded and were not finalized until only 5 days before the filing deadline. Held me up till the last minute. Especially annoying as I do many returns. They had been doing much better the last 2-3 years. now same problem as the "old" days

form 1116 error mystery for Estate return

Couldn't figure out what 'Other Deductions' was on 1116 of Estate return, but TurboTax kept asking me to fix it / supply an explanation. Figured out later that this was was the investment income being passed through to beneficiary (in spite of netting losses)

Only issue was that form 3554 was automatically created and had to be deleted manually.
