Turbotax doesnt include basic forms8996 and 8997

pretty poor experience. Turbotax doesnt include basic necessary forms for opportunity zone properties forms 8996 and 8997 have to be completed manually, and so return has to be filed on paper. other tax software providers include this. its been around for several years so their is no excuse

Another year done

I like the convenience of this and always have. Very few issues over the years. One thing I had a glitch with this year was not being able to get my 2019 taxes to populate for comparison so I opened the pdf and reviewed that way. When I finished this year the program did say 2020 will populate next year....hope so!

Worked As Expected

TurboTax has been my "go to" tax filing approach for so long, I can't remember when I started. It was some time in the 1990s. Year after year, I have filed successfully without issue. Since the quality was and is so high, I have become accustomed to it and therefore has no exciting review as other might who have not been a long time customer. They've set the bar so high, it's hard to beat.

Turbo Tax Business - Check State After Update

Been using product for several years. This year Intuit was late getting out GA forms. Completed returns early but had to wait for forms to come out on March 5th. When I did the updated from 3/5 experienced got a virus that would not allow product to update. After several attempts to resolve did a complete new install and then updated with no issues.
Ran McAfee to remove virus found in update32.exe file.
Upon completing state information experienced 2 additional problems: 1) Schedule 10 filled in a credit saying "Copy 1" which didn't exist and 2) Form IT for Film Production starting appearing in return. I ended up deleting State return and starting over. Fixed the GA Schedule 10 problem. The film production form appeared again so I just deleted the form from the return since it was not applicable.

I normally give Turbo Tax 5 star reviews but this year they seem to be falling behind on the GA 1120s data. Just my thoughts based on my current experience. Hope these comments help others working on the Business version.

this may actually be an irs item but it would be great for company returns to be able to create multiple recipients for confirmation emails

Needs to include more information on dealing with subcontractor invoicing/payments. Otherwise, pretty simple.
