Doesn't handle 1041 PA Trust returns properly and had awful support for Form 8995 (which the software didn't tell me I needed to fill out until I was in the process of e-filing.)

Turbo Tax is a general database program

As long as the initial interview questions go fine, then the program is pretty good. If you have to change something after it was put into the initial interview then the program is a pain. At times it is impossible to know where to change the information. Do you change it in the interview phase, or is it changed directly on the tax return form, or one of the many worksheets. I have spent hours trying to correct Turbo Tax mistakes that would take seconds to change on paper.

Massive fail on simple 2019 import of turbotax

When importing previous year's tax information, the 2020 tax declared all LLC members as NON-PERSONS (i.e. an entity). This causes problems with the efile processes. Try to fix by unchecking the checkbox in the member information, save (ctrl-S), efile fails, go back and it checked again! Pulled my hair out for several hours ( including search on the web ), called support, finally figured it out. Bad GUI design! TurboTax does not seems to really care to know what caused this problem!

No new glitches to work thru

I have been using TurboTax for over 30 years. (Remember the color coded 5 1/4" floppy discs it once was delivered on?) It continues to serve my needs and answer my questions. I only needed to do one work-around this year, so Good Work, Intuit!

I had to keep changing display settings to see certain screens. The state review kept saying all things looked good but kept taking me back to change things that did not need changed! I have used turbo tax for many many years and this year was terrible
