Turbo Tax is the way to go

I'm able to file my S-Corp Federal and State taxes without hiring an accountant. I've never had an issue using Turbo Tax.

Cant't submit the return!

I prepared a trust (1041 with K1s) with ease but when I attempt to submit I get an error message - "Intuit Electronic Filing center not open for the season..." (This is as of Feb 12, 2021.
I've unloaded the software and reloaded with the same results, super frustrated ;-(.

Still haven't updated software to handle QBI forms

The software still does not put the QBI amounts on the form. Every year I have to click on the forms and put the correct figures in.

Easy to Use - some delays

I can never complain about how easy to use the software is. I did have some issues with some of the Forms not being available for 3-5 days after the IRS made them available. When partners are waiting on K1s, for example, and they receive them from other sources but I can't get them out them for days - that's a problem. It's a bad reflection on my business and out of my control. I MAY try a new software next year, I'll have to wait and see how I feel - it IS the first time that this have ever happened and the ease of use and continuing on from year to year may give them a "do over" for a year.
