Federal GOk, SC State support is Garbage

The Federal part works pretty well. It has a few minor bugs, like insisting that an amount be in the charitable contribution, and repeatedly adding a number after I correct it. However, I paid $55 for the SC return to find out I can't eFile it. The fact that I cannot eFile is not Intuit's fault, but they could at least have the program prepare a packet to mail for it. When I printed "forms to mail" all I got was a single page saying that I did not have to mail anything because the Federal was efiled. I have to search through the packet for records and make a guess as to what has to be filed with SC!

Turbo Tax Glitch...

The Turbo Tax business software made me install the AZ State s - corp file and charged me $60 to do it. I am an LLC in the state of AZ that files sub chapter S for Federal with a separate personal tax filing for state and federal. I've never had to file S-Corp Returns for AZ before and the form did not self-populate from my federal rtn. It also kept trying to file me as a multi-state s-corp doing business in AZ. I had to elect not to file the state form to get my federal form to file.

1st Time was a Charm!

This was my first attempt at completing my S-Corp return without help from a CPA. My return is pretty simple, but TurboTax Business effortlessly navigated me through the process. I actually had fun, and the experience of doing the return provides background and understanding that you can't get from a CPA doing the return. I hope to do this every year.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

TurboTax is Consistently Good Tax Software

As a long time user of TurboTax for both Business and personal returns, I have found TurboTax to be easy to use and very helpful when completing my returns. Only gave 4 stars as I did experience a problem with the GA Business tax return where I kept getting into a loop with errors on the Film Tax Credit Form even though I had not selected to use any credits and my company is not film related. No matter what I did, I could not get out of the endless loop. Finally did some research and saw that I could completely delete the form by selecting it and that did the trick.

And yet this product isn't available online. Additionally, if you use QuickBooks online, this product will NOT integrate with it. You'll have to manually pull the information.
