Trust Tax

Turbo Tax by far is the easiest Tax program to use, I just wish there were easier ways to find out how the calculations are made. It took me a couple of days to refresh my memory and find the answers to total tax income came from and how the 1099-DIV and 1099-B calculated together. I had a hared time realizing that one set of figures were not part of the other as in being linked. All sales were one thing and Distributions were another.

Very thorough!

Overall the experience was pretty straight forward. I would of liked to see an option to speak with a CPA for Partnership returns next year. It would of saved us 2 days of running in circles with the SBA, IRS and Turbo Tax customer service. I would recommend!

Ok, but so many oddities

It works, but during the review there are so many random boxes that need an email, phone number or other bit of info that were already gathered during the interview process. Also, I did a GA state return and it added some form about a film project that was absolutely not needed.

Not able to submit electronically

I could not submit my 2 business partnership returns electronically for over 3 weeks.
I tried unsuccessfully aprox. 4 times/day at various times with no success. Program stated tax season filing was not open for electronic submissions. This is unacceptible.
