Great software, except for1099 entry & eFile

I love TurboTax desktop version, but do NOT like that I have to enter 1099 info online using QEF in order to efile 1099 info. If you can efile regular tax (and used to be able to efile 1099 info!) from Desktop version, you should still be able to do that.

A lot of the errors resulted from questions that were not asked. Additionally there were no help icons to view additional information on the errors that were highlighted. When answering the questions I was confused as to the answer of yes or no and help icon to look it up or a suggestion.

While preparing 1099-NEC, TurboTax would continue to begin preparing 1099-MISC forms after repeatedly filling in the NO button for preparing 1099-MISC forms. I finally had to skip to Analysis to end activities on 1099 forms. Otherwise the 1099 section worked well.

Is OK but at times instructions are not very clear

Difficulty in saving reports in other or "plain" form than PDF. Cannot amend in PDF form.
