Much worse than the web tool

The business software is much worse than the regular TurboTax web tool for self-employed. It is not user friendly, not have sufficient support, and does not show enough information and explanations about the errors.

I like Turbo Tax and have used it for years. This year was difficult since there were delays due to some forms. Also, they did not address the link to add the 1099B details

My parents had a living trust for their personal residence. The house was sold in 2020. I needed to file a fiduciary return for what was received and distributed. Turbo Tax Business made it easy.

Improvement Opportunity for Form 1041

Generally the 1041 program is good, but one improvement to include is a prompt in Other Income to include State Tax refunds received in the current tax year. This was not one of the examples in Other Income and it's not mentioned anywhere else in the return or in the tax guidance provided.
