After moving into a new house, we were stoked; the place was airy, open, and had tons of space. The only downside was that our room was in the one corner of the house without any cross breeze, even if we opened all the windows. I live in a tropical place, so the moment noon hits, it's so hot and humid in the one section of the house that even the AC can't cancel it out. As a hopeful solution, I bought two units of the Blue Pure Fan, since all other comparable brands required water, which wouldn't work in a humid environment. When they arrived, it was quick, packed nicely, required no setup, and I noticed the sound was quieter than the AC. These units, when placed on opposite sides of the room create our own little cross breeze and makes everything so much better! If you wanted something freezing, this isn't it, but it generates enough to feel significantly more pleasant. Would 100% recommend.

Beautiful Fan - Efficient Run

Been having some issues with Dust in my vents. So I am having that taken care of, but I bought this fan because I am a huge fan of the Blueair Products and Subscription Service. I have always had great service calls with them when I call to have my filters sent earlier. So I bought this fan to help circulate and pick up dust. This is a beautiful fan, and does a wonderful job. Peace of mind, and solid product. I have actually placed the fan in front of one of my floor vents to capture any dust coming out until my service man comes out and clears the ducts. I could not be happier with this product.

We live in the high desert - dry, hot, dusty! Really don't need a fan that adds to the dust movement in the house. We already owned the Blueair Pure 411 and Pure 211+ when we were considering this fan so we knew we would be getting a quality product. We LOVE this fan - cool, quiet, and moves air without adding to the dust/dander/pet hair that typically roams about the house. Well made, could not be happier with the performance, highly recommend this product.

My previous tower fan was loud and made random sounds throughout the night that kept me from sleeping well. The Blueair Pure fan has a soft sound that is the perfect white noise for helping me get a good night sleep!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pure air fan is very quiet. Has three settings which is useful. Seems to clean the air fairly quickly. Is a bit bulkier than I had expected but the deign is cool, sort of retro.
Overall I would say is a good fan to circulate and clean the air in your home. Filter reportedly last 6 months.

Quality Fan w/ Cooling and Noise Control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very pleased with the quality of the Blueair Pure fan. The material is very sleek and durable. It comes with a handle, somewhat of a faux leather, which is thick and nicely made and it has rubberized pegs at the bottom that match the color of the handle. A cool aspect of the fan is the on/off and intensity settings. It has a "button" of sorts on the top of the fan that requires little to no pressure to start up. With a simple touch it turns on starting on the low setting and increasing in intensity with subsequent presses. In terms of function, the fan is pretty cooling however I don't see it cooling any large areas easily. I think the fan would work best located near a vent in order to push the cool air around more. For example, if I were to have the fan on, not facing me, I wouldn't get any of the cool air effect although it could still be cooling the air slightly and purifying. Which leads into the filtering/purifying function of the fan. One of the claims was that it would help rid the air of allergens and help those with allergies by decreasing the frequency of allergy-related symptoms. I do have seasonal allergies however I did not find a significant decrease in allergy-related symptoms as a result of using this fan. I will note that I rarely used it on the high intensity setting because I did not like the loudness of it which is actually on par with most other regular fans (but I struggle sleeping with the noise). So, maybe that had something to do with the results or lack there of in that department. Perhaps, for those with other types of allergies, like that of pets, might find this more helpful. I also have two dogs and I do appreciate the filtering aspect of the fan because it helps rid the air of pet dander regardless of whether or not it aided my seasonal allergies; The fan came with two washable filters which is a plus and I'm sure they'll last a really long time. Overall, the Blueair Pure fan is a unique one with quality specs and an ergonomic design

Love the design and function of this fan. I bought one because pollen count was so high in my area and my daughter and I were both suffering badly. I have a Blueair purifier in my bedroom so I know they make great products so I decided to purchase the fan since summer was here. When it arrived I gave it to my daughter to put in her bedroom the first night. She woke up and was not nearly as congested as she has been so we ordered another fan. It works great, cools down the room and quiet. We bought another one for the living room.

Bought this for my 120 sq ft office. It makes the air feel cleaner, but doesn't do a darn thing for cooling (which is half the reason I bought it). It just circulates the air like my regular Blue Air filters (I have two 400 series). But this fan is cute and the right size, so I'm keeping it.
