Versatile & Convenient, Must Have Stroller
on February 11, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. At first, I was intimidated by everything this stroller claimed to do. A bassinet, a toddler stroller & the ability to snap in a car seat to just the frame. I thought it would be difficult to maneuver and be bulky, but I was wrong! The stroller was easy to put together & with no tools necessary, mostly clicking & locking into place. The directions made it easy to figure out how to change it from one mode to the next. I have a one year old daughter & thought the toddler seat was great. It was easy to adjust for her & she was comfortable in it. I love how big the basket is in the bottom of the stroller, perfect to fit the diaper bag or whatever else I need to bring along. I tried out my daughter’s car seat, snapping it quickly & easily onto the frame. The bassinet feature was really nice & I look forward to trying it with a future baby! It seemed sturdy & comfortable for a baby. Finally, the stroller was very easy to fold up & store with the push of two buttons & a swift pull. The Graco Modes Nest Stroller is the best, most functional & stylish stroller I have seen & experienced & I would recommend it to every parent!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved it at first but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've received this stroller thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel since I was really interested in it having my 4th child just recently!
Once the product arrived, unboxing was a breeze, installation was super easy even those whom hate assembly can swiftly put it altogether.
My first impression of this stroller was TALL. I'm a short person (5'2-157 cm) and this stroller is nearly my height. The seat is really spacious for a toddler that my four years old gets a little lost in it (she's petite herself though with an average height and weighs 17 kg) her younger sister (2 years old, weighs 13 kg) hopped on - rather squished her- and it was surprisingly moderate while maneuvering it around. However the seating is so big that the snack bar was above her head level so I'm unsure if I assembled it right or my kids are too small.
Everything aside, you can turn the stroller with a little force by one hand easily. The brakes are somewhat sturdy. The stroller itself isn't really as lightweight as Ive hoped but folding/unfolding is fast to figure them out. The wheels are good but the front ones need a strong push for them to step over hurdles as they tend to get stuck easily.
The canopy is really nice and it goes a long way, protecting our little ones from the heat adequately. The cup holder is neat I use it for my phone haha. The storage underneath is really refreshing since it's wide enough for my two years old to lay down there with her legs stretched out which is a big WIN for me since I tend to overpack!!
Closing the stroller and carrying it around can be a little awkward with the seat being in the way.
I'd recommend this stroller occasionally but would not call it lightweight. But convenient to feel like you're really close to your kid. Feels more like a moving chair than a stroller honestly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great stroller for first time moms!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stroller through the Stellar Product testing panel. We currently have the Graco Modes 3 Lite DLX, so it's been fun to compare the two. The Modes Nest is awesome because it has the bassinet in addition to the toddler seat and the ability to attach an infant car seat. The directions were simple and easy to follow and assembly was quick. I only used the toddler seat when pushing the stroller because my toddlers are both out of infant carseats; however, they both loved how high up they sat in the stroller and were delighted when I adjusted the seat higher and lower. My older son (almost 3) now always requests to ride in "the big stroller" because of how high up he sits. It was also super easy to switch the position of the seat to face in and out--and easy to do on the fly. The Modes Nest is large, with tons of room in the basket beneath for storage. I found it very easy to collapse and, in spite of its size, it easily fit into the small trunk of our car. My one complaint is that I found the handle bar to be rather large in circumference and less comfortable to hold onto than our other stroller. It is easy to maneuver.

Great Stroller for the First Time Parent
on February 10, 2020
Posted by: BrynnandBleu
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to review the Modes(TM) Nest Stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. To say the least I was so excited - I have four children all under the age of six and although at this point I largely have everything I could need in terms of gear, the flip side to this is that the gear is getting older, has been around the block more than a few times, and it is rare to try something new because I am just trying to get through the last kiddo. However, I have used a ton of different gear in my tenure as a parent, and I can definitely tell you what works and what isn't worth the money.
The stroller came in a box and needed to be assembled which was relatively easy to do. My first impression is that the stroller has a sleek design, looked like a high-end stroller due to the black frame and heather gray fabric, and ironically reminded me of the stroller I currently was using. It has a large basket underneath that is easily accessibly from both sides (this is very important) and came with a cup holder and toddler tray which is huge! It may sound silly to be excited about these little additions, but I paid a great deal of money for my existing stroller and I had to buy the cup holder and toddler tray separately. Also, when the stroller was collapsed, the overall frame and seat was relatively light. This seems like a small detail when all you have to do is collapse the stroller and take it in and out of car, but a heavy stroller can take its toll after awhile.
This stroller also has the ability to be used three ways: as a traditional stroller for infants and toddlers; the seat can invert to become a bassinet (genius as many high end strollers offer a bassinet option but again, needs to be purchased separately); and as an infant car sear carrier. Also, the seat can move up or down on the frame which is a great option especially if you are a shorter parent (moving it down allows for a better viewpoint) or if you want to create more space in the basket underneath.
In terms of functionality, this stroller is a good stroller. If you are a first time parent, and need a reliable stroller, Modes(TM) Nest gives you the sleek design of a high end model without the high price tag. However, as an experienced parent, I noticed a couple of things that were not ideal. As I mentioned earlier, the seat has the ability to collapse into a bassinet. There are a few things you need to do to make the seat a bassinet so the seat itself is not necessarily unreliable (it will not collapse into the bassinet function without physical manipulation) but due to its convertibility, the seat seems very pliable and flexible. My toddler was trying to sit forward in the seat and I noticed that the entire back of the seat was pulling way forward (almost inverting in the opposite direction). It seemed very "squishy" Also the seating position is very ram rod straight. You are able to recline the seat but your options seem to be a fairly complete recline or a ram rod straight position (whereas my current stroller allows for variations of recline). The other non-ideal item I would mention is that there are two foot brakes (one on each side of the rear wheels), but you need to engage both separately to engage the brakes. They should design the brakes to engage simultaneously regardless of which brake pad is suppressed. Lastly, this stroller did not have great one-hand maneuverability. This is so important when it comes to a good stroller. So many times as a parent you are trying to accomplish two things at once and I know that I always like to have great control with one hand if I need to utilize this option.
Overall, this is a good stroller especially for a first time parent. Some of the things I mentioned above would not be obvious or seem like a necessity unless you have some experience. The price point is good and overall this stroller is good option!
Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to review this stroller!

Great versatile stroller!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. I am mom of two children (4 and 2) and I have used many strollers over the past few years. The Modes Nest Stroller is definitely a great stroller to use. The adjustable seat is a great feature that is not found on many strollers (if any!) and I love the ability to have my baby up closer to me and facing in either direction.
Here are what I found as pros and cons:
PROS:
1. Super Lightweight and easy to manuveur
2. Completely versatile with the adjustable seat (both in height and direction!)
3. LOVE that there is a bassinet option without having to purchase an additional piece
4. LOVE that you can use a car seat on this stroller
5. Folds up easy
CONS:
1. Even though it folds up easy, I have other strollers that fold a little tighter that this one. I drive a Toyota Corolla and right now I can fit a wagon and my other single stroller just fine. The Nest does not fit in my trunk with the wagon, the wheels don't close flat enough. With that said, with no wagon in there it has plenty of room!
2. The stroller says it fits a toddler up to 50 lbs. My daughter is two (35 inches tall and about 29 lbs) and she does not fit in this stroller, she is already too big. I would say an infant to a very young toddler is realistic.
3. The seat was a little more flimsy for a heavier child. I think it would be fine for a smaller child/infant. However, when you push down a bit on the seat, it just feels like the seat is not that sturdy.
4. It was not as easy to put together as other strollers I have. In my experience, I have only had to pop wheels in. The Nest has pins and other parts to add the wheels to the base. Not a deal breaker but not a plus.
5. The parent cup holder is small and down on the side, I had to buy an add-on cup holder attachment to properly hold my items on the handle.
Overall, I would definitely suggest this as a stroller!

Great options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love taking walks with my baby and she loves it, too, and I'm really happy with this stroller, it is top-notch in quality and design.
First, it is made really well. It's a full-size stroller with real metal, clever design, rugged and strong without compromising on it being so easy to use. It rolls along very smoothly -- the big soft wheels smooth out the ride very nicely, even at a jog. It's very easy to steer and turn, as tightly or gently as I need to do. The seat and/or bed is really well thought out and designed. They're made with fabric, and they convert quickly and simply, from a baby bed to a toddler stroller. The whole seat raises, lowers, or tilts. The bed can lay flat, like an old-fashioned baby carriage or bassinet, which would be great for newborns. When we go out on a walk and my daughter falls asleep in the fresh air, I just let her stay asleep for a nap in the stroller when we get home. As my baby grows, I really love how the seat can adjust with her. Plus, there is a big, roomy place to carry a baby bag and what-have-you in the hammock area, underneath the stroller. And the baby bed/seat moves up or down, to one of three settings, to whatever works best for you and it's really easy to slide and lock it into place. Excellent stroller!
I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Super smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! What a game changing stroller. Thank you stellar product testing panel for the chance to test out this stroller. I think when looking for a stroller it can be a daunting task. There are so many options and possibilities. What I LOVE about this stroller is that all of the possibilities are wrapped up in one. This stroller is super versatile, lightweight, stylish and the ride is smooth!! Because of the bassinet option, this stroller can be used from the beginning until toddlerhood. I am going to highlight a couple of my favorite features below.
1. The stroller has a bassinet mode which is amazing, but that’s not all! My favorite part about this stroller is that you don’t have to buy and “extra attachment”. The bassinet transforms into the seat for the toddler! How convenient. For parents this is great because you don’t have extra parts laying around and it saves you money!
2. The changeable heights. This is great especially postpartum. It bring the baby to a comfortable level for you! (Or your hubby).
3. The storage basket under the stroller is HUGE!! I have a toddler and a baby so it nice to have lots of space to store our things!
4. You can use your graco car seat in this stroller. So you have a travel system and it’s super easy in and out of the car to the store or wherever you need to go!!
5. Lastly the ride is so smooth! It’s so easy to turn even with my toddler in the seat! I never have to struggle with turning or pushing uphill.
These are just a few reasons I love this stroller. If you’re looking for a stroller to last, I definitely recommend this one! From start to finish it will have you covered.
