Lightest Car Seat Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! They weren’t kidding when they named this a “Lite” car seat! It is super lightweight which is so amazing for carting around my twins!! The entire box it came in, car seat, and base, were nearly lighter than our first car seat! It was simple to begin using because the base was easy to install with the built in level and adjustable feature. Bonus- it also easily clicked into our Graco stroller so it took only a few minutes to be ready to go! I received this car seat to test as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review, and I will say I I wondered about the comfort of the cover’s material as it reminded me of a wind breaker material, but my daughter was instantly comfortable. Also in being so lightweight you can see less padding, especially around the head. I moved the car seat around with my daughter in it to see if she would move around more, but she didn’t! I know that Graco follows all safety standards so I was not worried, and know it was just an appearance of less padding. A few other things I noticed while using: the canopy does not move very smoothly; and the release button for the straps wasn’t in plain sight, but once I found it, it was actually very easy to release! Finally, I would love this car seat even more if there was just one button to adjust the handle, instead of one on each side (must use two hands). Overall, the lightweight design makes this car seat so much easier on me carrying my babies and getting them in and out of the car, and I would definitely recommend!!

Light and quick to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this car seat was delivered from Stellar Product Testing Panel, I could not believe how light it was even before unpacking from the box! The carrier itself is WAY lighter than the one I had with my first baby, and since my second baby is big and in the 95% for weight, it makes a difference to have a lighter carrier with such an already heavy baby. Install was easy and quick, which will make it easy to swap cars when Grandma babysits.
Besides the light weight, I think my favorite part is how easy the fabric padding comes out to wash. It literally took me about 5 seconds and I had it unattached from the carrier and ready to wash. If you've ever had a baby blowout their diaper in a car seat, you know how important this is!
Nit-picking, I wish the carrier handle had some sort of rubberized or padded grip, and the sun canopy was a little easier to adjust, but those are small inconveniences. Overall, I'm very happy with this carrier carseat!

Light as a feather!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Safety and comfort are most likely the two biggest features every parent searches for when they are looking for a car seat. You either have a child who loves car rides or hates them, my case being the latter. Installing the SnugRide 35 Lite Infant Car Seat was very easy, the base is adjustable and the carrier just clicks in. However the biggest perk of this car seat is that it is so light! With a growing baby that keeps getting heavier the last thing you want are bulky heavy items to drag along with you. Some cons are that the canopy does not open and close easily and the car seat quality overall seems a bit on the lower spectrum. However that being said my baby hates car rides and always cries in our car seat but when we put her in this one she instantly relaxed and actually fell asleep on the drive instead of screaming the whole time! Thank you to Stellar Testing Panel for having me review this and now using this as my primary car seat!!

Cheaply made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Originally I could not find the latch hooks that were tucked away at the bottom of the base. The idea was great for storage purposes though. It was not hard to install with the latch but whether you installed with latch or with the seat belt it just didn’t seem as secure as some other car seat bases. Once installed lifting the car seat was a breeze. I LOVED how lightweight and easy to carry it was and it actually became my favorite feature! Trying to adjust the passenger seat however became nearly impossible afterwards and getting the seat OFF the base was not the easiest thing in the world either. The seat just didn’t seem as high quality as I’ve known Graco products to be. Overall I just think Graco has made better products in the past but this isn’t one of them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A light car seat but needs improvement

The SnugRide® 35 Lite Infant Car Seat is definitely lighter compared to our other Graco infant car seat but I feel it could’ve been better.
We currently have twins so I decided to use my heavier twin (23lbs at 6 months) in this car seat to see if it would make a difference with carrying him. It was definitely easier to carry him but I don’t think it is the one for us.
Pros:

The base was easy to install and adjust and the car seat itself snaps right in like the others (a feature I love).
Cons:
Missing on this car seat was the added head space protection. I didn’t notice it until after my son fell asleep and his head was slumped to the side. That part is probably missing to make the car seat lighter but this was a deal breaker because I prefer safety over anything else.

Adjusting the straps on the car seat is a little tedious for me because we only have to push some buttons and slide up to adjust on our other one. But that’s just my overall preference.
The padding on this seat is lighter as well compared to our other seat which is kind of negative but isn’t a deal breaker.
The canopy on this one seemed flimsier than our other one too and it wasn’t easy to open and close either.
Overall, this car seat is lighter and carrying out big boy in it was a little different in weight but like I mentioned before the head space protection was a deal breaker for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lightweight, sturdy seat!

The base was easy to install and the car seat was simple to figure out and adjust the straps to fit our little guy. I loved how lightweight the car seat is, but still very sturdy. Carrying around the seat was much nicer than others I have used in the past. Great car seat overall!

Easy to Carry and Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SnugRide 35 Lite infant car seat is extremely easy to use and install. I love the Graco click connect system because it allows me to install a base in each car and the seat installs very simply on top by just clicking the seat into the base. You can move from car to car by just pushing a button rather than having to install it on the latch system each and every time. the click connect system is also compatible with our stroller so you don’t have to wake up baby and remove them from the car seat when going from car to stroller. This car seat is also light and easy to carry. I would highly recommend. I received this car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel for free, but have purchased Graco car seats and strollers in the past and will again in the future

Very lightweight and easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a mom of two little ones (2 years old and 5 months) so time is crucial. I love the ease of the Graco SnugRide 35 infant car seat’s quick click technology. This feature has been a lifesaver while I’m rushing around and carrying bags, my two year old, and my infant all while opening and closing the doors and going from place to place. Knowing that the only thing I need to do is hear the “click” and the car seat is installed safely gives me peace of mind and saves me from having to use an extra arm that I don’t have. I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Graco SnugRide 35 Lite infant car seat itself was easy to install with clear directions and an adjustable base which allowed me the ease installing safely and trusting the accuracy of safety installation. As a mom of two little ones I appreciate how seamless and light this car seat is. The car seat has 6 different height/recline positions so I can still use it as my baby grows! I wish I had known about this car seat when my first born was an infant.
