Uncomfortable

Very uncomfortable, practically no padding. Baby hated this one but loved the padded one I got by safety 1st

Not a fan of the canopy. This car seat works well enough and is very light weight which is nice. However, the canopy is kind of flimsy and hard to maneuver. It is hard to move up and down- only if the handle is in the lowered position it moves fairly easily and quietly- but you have to use both hands on either side of the canopy. If you have one hand trying to lift or lower in the middle of the canopy, it will just get all crooked and out of shape, or not really move at all. Also if the handle is up it is barely moveable and makes a lot of noise. I suppose I can live with this but it's still worth pointing out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Choose something else

First time parent bought and now after using wish we had chosen a different seat. The padding is not sufficient for supporting a newborn baby head. Very disappointing because I don’t feel confident in its safety or comfort. There are not strap covers and the straps tend to dig into the neck when secured properly. Sure, it gets the job done but I recommend choosing something else. I also wish the seat was able to recline when attached to the stroller, for baby comfort so head and neck aren’t compressed forward on weak airways. Additionally, the canopy should be able to be opened/closed with 1 hand, not requiring 2 hands to push in the buttons on either side.

Easy install & light weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Graco! This infant seat has been the easiest to install by far thanks to the base. It has 4 different levels and it’s super easy to change. The seat clicks in and releases with one hand. It has a nice cushion/support inside to help keep my son comfortable and safe. It was really easy to adjust the straps to accommodate my sons height. The shade provided on this seat is great and helps keep the sun out of my sons eyes. I can easily carry this seat with one hand. Since I have a toddler also this is very convenient and helpful. It also clicks into my current Graco stroller! Thank you to stellar product testing panel for providing us with this infant car seat

Not worth it

I received the SnugRide® 35 Lite Infant Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The first thing I noticed, before even opening up the box, was how light it was. I was initially excited about this, but quickly realized that the rest of the seat was lacking. The seat itself was fine. I had to adjust the shoulder strap height to fit my baby and the instructions were clear on how to do that. When I got my baby buckled in, I noticed that the strap to tighten everything was very hard to pull. There was a lot of resistance and I had to pull quite hard to get it secure. This might be just be due to the fact that it is brand new. Installing the base in my car was impossible. Two adults with a fair amount of muscle were unable to secure the base. Even after all the slack was taken out of the belt, the base was still moving much more than an inch at the belt path. This happened with both the LATCH and the car seat belt. It takes me less than a minute to install the base of my other infant car seat so, I don't know what the issue is with this one. Overall, I was not impressed with this car seat and wouldn't recommend it.

Moves A lot

Noisy canopy

I’m torn on whether to recommend this product or not. It’s the lightest weight car seat that Graco makes at the best price….but the canopy…IT’S SO LOUD. Good luck trying to keep the baby sleeping. I’m annoyed with it right out of the box and considering returning but the thing that is stopping me is that the other car seats are about 2lbs heavier. I’m not sure what I will do.

Not Safe

I am so disapointed in this seat. My grandbaby fell off of a resturant highchair while in this seat! It does not have a latch or notch like other carseats that are safer. I am so upset as I purchased this along with two bases and a stroller for my grandchild. I used Graco with my children and I am livid over the design of this product! Graco has to know that this baby seat would be used when the child must be put in grocery carts and restaurant highchairs! I sincerely hope that Graco reaches out to me to resolve this issue. I will be shopping or a new SAFE seat that is suitable for mutiple situations. New parents please dont purchase this one!
