Economical Option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat to test as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used this infant carrier for my baby boy, who is now 3 weeks old. My first impression with this carrier was that the materials feel really cheap compared to most other car seats I have seen, including the Graco infant carrier that I used with my daughter who is now 2. The carrier is very lightweight and easy to carry around, possibly partly because of the cheaper materials they used. For the most part, I don't mind that they seemed to cut some costs without compromising safety. However, I like that most carriers have a rubber grip on the handle, because they feel a little nicer. I struggle with joint pain in my hands, so I would really appreciate a little padding of some sort to protect those sore joints.
I liked that this car seat was easy to get in and out of my car. I really like the Click Connect system, and it is compatible with my stroller, so it is easy to transfer baby from the car to the stroller without having to take him out of the seat and wake him up. The car seat is not too difficult to install. The base just clips to the LATCH anchor system in your car. The hardest part is tightening the strap properly (you have to pull really hard) without messing up the leveling, but once the base is installed properly, it's a breeze getting the carrier in and out of the base.
My favorite thing about this base is the adjustable head cushion. I love that it cradles my son's head nicely and keeps it from slumping to the side or forward, and it can move as he grows.
Overall, it seems like a good option for caregivers who don't want to spend much on an infant carrier car seat. It does the job well enough.

Compact and light weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat is light weight and compact. It is perfect in my husbands truck where there is less space in the back seat. It was very easy to install. Its simple to use and my 2 month old sits comfortably in it. Overall it’s a great seat! (I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel)

Nothing beats the ease of a Graco seat and this seat was no exception. It’s easy to carry, easy to clean, easy to connect to the base or the stroller, just EASY! As a mom of multiple children this seat makes my life a littles easier! It’s not bulky, and the fabric on it is awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two kids, so I was really looking forward to having a lighter carseat to trek around and I was not disappointed. While I don't think the weight difference is THAT much better than the previous model I had, it has been making a difference in my ability to carry my daughter in the seat versus tossing it in the stroller. I really like the handle contour and find it more comfortable on my arm. I noticed the seat seems a tiny bit more shallow than a previous version I had (older daughter) and seems to fit in my car very nicely. The minor updates to the material and styling are really nice, but I still find that my daughter tips over to one side and I would love to see a little more padding on the headrest, but that isn't a huge deal for me. I love the base and found it very easy to install - the height adjustment is fantastic and made it a breeze. Getting the carseat in and out of my car has been extremely easy and I find the weight difference is hugely helpful here. The colors are really nice and I love the pattern on the cover - this is really nice and big to keep sunlight out! The only thing I would change with the cover is the clicking is so strong (honestly, this is a good thing, it is STURDY), but it always wakes my daughter up when I pull it down! Haha. I really like this carseat and base and find it a really nice upgrade to the model I had about 5 years back. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this carseat!

The shade cover does not open and close very easily, it gets stuck on the handle. Also the infant support piece is pretty thin and probably more for looks than support. But the fabric does seem to be very cleaning friendly and I am excited to try it out.

Favorite infant car seat

Very light car seat especially since having had a c section restricts how much weight I can carry. My baby falls asleep as soon as she is placed inside-would recommend this purchase.
