Great lightweight car seat!

We are using this with our second baby, who is 2 weeks now. I was very surprised at how light it was when I took it out of the box - a huge help for me carrying it around! The seat is easily latched into the base and then easy to take out with the one button release in the back. So far it is very easy to carry with it being so lightweight. The adjustable base was a quick and easy install, and the 4 position adjustable recline on it helped to install it in my car since my seats are a little more sloped down where the base latches in. The canopy on the seat is a little loud when pushed back and forth startles my baby every so often, but it may loosen up over time. Overall, this is a wonderful, and very affordable option for a carseat! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat.

Easy to use

The car seat clicks in easily and is easy to remove from the base. The base is easy to install - the 4-position adjustable recline foot is great for helping get the right recline. The level indicator is also easy to read. It makes for an easy install.
The car seat is lightweight and easy to carry.

Great car seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this car seat because of how easy it is to use. Installing and removing it from the base was so simple. My favorite feature is just how light it is to carry! I don’t feel like I’m lugging around too much extra weight in addition to the diaper bag and whatever else. It’s not bully either like some other car seats. I do wish it had more built in head support for newborns, but that is an easy fix with an insert. Overall, great car seat and the base made it even easier. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try out this great car seat.

Lightweight and comfy infant seat

This infant seat is lightweight and so easy to use with the Graco Click system. It snaps easily into the carseat base, as well as into our Graco stroller. We had an earlier model of this seat for our first daughter and love the upgrades this model offers, including a comfy, padded infant head/body support. The canopy is easy to use and the entire seat is clearly well made and durable.

Easy to use & Portable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this car seat and base as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel to use with my fourth baby born in February. I had the following requirements for a car seat: easy to get in and out of the car, light enough to carry around for quick school drop offs and secure for infant and larger baby. The SnugRide 35 LX car seat has fit all of our needs nicely. My husband was able to install the adjustable base using our car’s anchor system quickly and easily. The car seat is light enough to carry around while dropping my older children off at their schools. It’s very easy to pop on and off the base. The baby feels secure with the included infant headrest and the chest clips and latch are both easy to clip and i clip. Great product! I just bought the matching Graco car seat carrier for longer trips. I’m looking forward to its arrival to see how the two products work together. In short, great car seat!

All you need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Upon taking it out of the box I was just so surprised of how light it was even with the base attached. It was very simple to install and although I didn’t need to adjust the base; I was glad it had the option to do so should I use in a car that needed a different height. It was real easy too. I could adjust the base level even using one hand if needed. Both the base and the car seat itself was so light and easy to maneuver even one handed.

Sturdy, Lightweight, and Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco SnugRide 35 Lite LX infant car seat is very light, sturdy, and easy to install. Getting the car seat in and out of the car is simple and painless. It attaches and detaches easily, making the transition to and from the car effortless. The clicking sound is a little loud, but my newborn does not seem to mind it, and continues to sleep peacefully. (She typically decides to wake up when I’m getting into bed or sitting down to eat.)
The car seat handle is safe to use in the car in any locked position. I leave it up which makes is very easy to carry in and out of the car. I don’t have a stroller compatible with this car seat, so I just carry the car seat from the car. If it wasn’t so lightweight, this would be a lot harder.
The base installs with either a lap belt or latch. I found the lap belt to be more secure as I had a harder time tightening the base with the latch. The base does not have a belt lock-off like some other models, so your seat belts must be able to retract and lock. I also installed the car seat with just the lap belt (no base) and it was very simple, just a little more complicated for getting in and out since you must undo the seat belt every time, but it’s a great option when traveling/flying.
The adjustable recline and level indicator give me peace of mind that the car seat is in the correct position for my five-week-old daughter. The level indicator clearly shows how to position the seat correctly.
The newborn insert is nice, but the head padding is in an awkward position for my newborn. I wish it was a little more padded. Also, the sunshade is flimsy and gets stuck when I pull it back.
Overall, this is a great car seat, especially if you don’t want to feel like your walk from the car to the house is the Arnold Schwarzenegger bicep workout. Now I just need to convince my husband that we have space in our two-bedroom for a compatible stroller! Thank you, Stellar Product Testing Panel, for allowing me to test and review this car seat.

Simple and Secure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SnugRide 35 Lite LX Infant Car Seat is probably one of the best infant car seats I've ever used. The design is very parent friendly, and lightweight. The pattern that I have (Brody Fashion) is cute and gender neutral. The carseat and base were both super easy to install. I really like the adjustability of the base, allowing the angle of the car seat to grow with the baby, making it more versatile. My favorite feature of the car seat and base combo is the level indicator on the base. It gave me reassurance that the base was installed properly. With this being my 3rd child and having previous experiences with different car seat brands, you can absolutely feel the difference in quality versus others, with Graco improving over the years. The simplicity of the installation is what really sold me though. I would highly recommend this car seat and base combo to other parents. Although I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I would definitely have bought this product on my own. That's how much I love it. It was a win-win in my book.
