Great all around travel system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mode(TM) Pramette Travel System was fun to test out for the past week and a half. Our family takes a walk everyday in almost any weather. It has been rainy, sunny, and cold since we have received the travel system to test so we have gotten to use it in many different weather situations.
Over all, I really liked this system, it is so sleek and stylish, we received many compliments on it. It looks really high end!
I enjoyed the functionality of the stroller and the many ways to use the seat, we used it as a bassinet when our son fell asleep and when he woke it was an easy transition back into a seat! That was my favorite feature! I also liked that you can face the seat/bassinet either forward facing or rear facing, which my son really enjoyed! The big basket at the bottom was also really great and it fit many things! We even used it at the grocery store instead of a cart! It rode well in the stores and on smooth paved roads. I did have some trouble over high cracks in pavement or going through a grassy area. It was a little harder to push then some other strollers I’ve used but not the worst in the least. I felt the overall stroller was a little wobbly and seemed flimsy.
My absolute favorite part of the travel system was the car seat! I loved how light the car seat was, and how straightforward it was use! I like that it snapped right into the stroller base instead of sitting on top of the seat as I’ve seen in others. I felt my son was very comfortable in the seat and the straps were very easy to adjust to his specific size. The base fit perfectly in my car and the installation was quick and easy, anyone can do it! I really liked the style of the car seat!

Adorable and Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive my Modes Pramette travel system through Stellar Product testing panel. My baby girl is only 3 months old and loves to go on walks but the stroller I had did not allow her to lay flat. When I first took it out of the box I was a bit overwhelmed by all the parts. I was very thankful my husband was there to help. Getting everything put together took some time but once it was together I was so pleased with the look.
Let’s be real looks are nothing of it doesn’t work. I have a rather large backpack style diaper bag that easily fit in the large storage area. The addition of having cup holder and a cell phone holder made it so I didn’t have to carry my purse, for me this is huge as I hate leaving the house feeling like I have everything but the kitchen sink with me.
The pram is by far my favorite part. My daughter often falls asleep on our walks and I feel so good knowing she is in a safe sleep positions. On top of that I can flip the way it is facing so I can keep her out of the sun. (In California this is a big deal) The wheels have good maneuverability and makes for smooth walks outdoors.
The biggest part of a travel system is traveling with it. The car seat easily fit in my car and the frame of the travel system is so lightweight I was able to load it in and out of the car with no trouble. As for popping the car seat in and out it’s smooth transition. My baby did even noticed the first time I moved her while she was napping.
The long and short of it is this is a great travel system for being in town. The versatility allows you to adjust so you and your baby can be in the most comfortable position possible. Again the under storage is amazing! On the flip side if you are primarily wanting a travel system that cis good for jogging or taking if it off road this might not be the best option.

Reliable and Safe Travel System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system. I feel that the look of the Modes (TM) Pramette stroller is right in line with other Graco products. The stroller looks sleek and clean. I liked that the stroller was easy to assemble and the car seat base is quick to install. The stroller seems very comfortable for my toddler, and the car seat was perfect for my infant. The basinette feature is such a great bonus for a travel system to include. I actually really liked that the seat converted to a basinette rather than including a separate basinette since it’s something that most people only use for a short amount of time. This way there are no extra parts to store.
From someone whose phone has fallen off of a stroller and shattered, I appreciate the cell phone holder. The stroller is easy to open and close, and the basket underneath is large enough for storage. The stroller does handle well.
My criticism is that the stroller could roll a bit smoother, and it does not look like the most modern, high end stroller. My particular stroller shade did not stay in the completely forward position very well. It snapped back into the “almost completely forward” position, which is a bit frustrating. However, I think the price point matches it’s quality.

Great System, but missing pieces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great/versatile travel system!
The good:
- Multiple configurations mean you can make this system work for most babies/mom's needs, and it is usable from the newborn stage through toddlerhood.

- The bassinet mode is excellent for tiny ones like mine, if you are not comfortable keeping them in the carseat for long periods of time.
- The reclining function is a strap that you can pull up or release to any level. This makes it easy to use for any age.
- The basket underneath is easily accessible in all the modes, and it is huge!!!
- The handle is high enough to be comfortable for taller people.
- The stroller and car seat are both comfortably padded.
- It is very easy to switch between modes!
The Awkward:
- We were missing parts. The pins that hold the wheels on were not included, and we had to go out and buy replacements.

- The carseat hood has a habit of not staying fully extended.
- When the child eating tray is attached, and you fold the stroller, the tray stays extended. You have to pull off the tray, and the 2 side pieces that attach to the frame in order for it to be flat. And they are not easy to remove one handed if you are holding a baby and trying to fit it in your trunk.
Overall, I would recommend this travel system. The quirks are not deal breakers, and the pro's definitely outweigh them in my opinion. (I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel)

1. You can use just the carseat. You can either have your baby facing you, or your child can face out to see where they are headed. I found it supper easy to install just the carseat on the frame. 2. You have the option of the just the stroller seat. I found out that I had a problem getting this one the frame. You can use just the seat, or you can snap the carseat on in the seat. My carseat would stick while doing this. It could be just because it is new. When you use the seat, you can either have the child facing you or out.
3. The bassinet is the stroller seat, al you do it un button a bar in the seat. I am not a fan of this feature. I find it a pain to get it in this position, and it doesn't look very comfortable.the stroller is very light and easy to fold with one hand. The carseat is light as well and easy to install. I am not a fan of the infant insert. The visor covers the baby well (which I love).

The perfect stroller from birth to toddler-hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE the Graco Modes(TM) Pramette stroller. It is easy to put together, offers great versatility, has a wonderful shade structure, is easy to fold, and fits in the trunk of my car. In the last year, I have tried multiple strollers and this by far is my favorite. It was extremely easy to put together right out of the box. We immediately set it up and took it for a spin. Right off the bat, I loved the mobility. The four wheels have great grip and were easy to maneuver over sidewalks, dirt, and grass. My son is almost 1, so he was a bit old for the bassinet configuration, but we still enjoyed trying it out. He fit well laying down and I could see using this if a nap was necessary on the go. This would also be a fabulous set-up for a new baby. We then folded the seat into the upright position and he loved having a cup holder and tray with easy access. One of my favorite aspects of the stroller is the ability to reverse his seat. We live in a very sunny area, so the ability to flip his seat, based on the sun was perfect. He enjoyed both directions, because he was easily able to take in the views when facing forward and loved seeing me, when facing backward. It is extremely easy to move the seat and I could do it by myself. The shade structure offers good coverage and is rated for 50 UV. It is a sturdy canopy and worked well in the rain too. I enjoy how easily this stroller folds and I was able to do it with one hand. This worked out well when traveling with the stroller, as I often have my hands full. Once folded, the stroller fit into the trunk of my car with ease. I love that this stroller offers a cup holder and a cell phone holder for the stroller driver. I enjoyed taking it to the mall, zoo, and park with no problems.The only minor complaint I had was with the initial smell of the material, but it went away after a few days. This is the ultimate stroller for new parents. From baby's birth to toddler-hood, this stroller offers the perfect options for busy parents on the go. Highly recommend the Graco Modes Pramette Stroller

I've been using the Graco Modes Pramette as my main stroller for the past month, and have absolutely loved it! When I purchase a stroller there are always a few things I look for, bigger wheels, a cup holder for me, a large storage area for long days at Disney, something versatile, stylish, and comfortable for the baby, This stroller has all that and more!
My Pros: My LO was very comfortable in it,The stroller is great for me to maneuver one-handed. The Modes Pramette is super easy to change from the infant seat, to the pram and etc. The Storage basket is super big fits my entire diaper bag, breast pump bag, plus extra blankets toys etc! The brakes were easy to use and release when needed,(I loved this option, my previous high end didnt have, and I had wished more then once that it did! Tthe sunshade is also really well appointed in size, enough to cover the baby from the elements when needed. I loved how functional and trendy this stroller is, its a high end product, and I really felt that when using.
My only Cons: The Pramette is not the smallest once folded, but it is lightweight, which is a plus. The one hand fold is a little difficult to achieve if the stroller seat is not in the system as it will not stand on its own.
Setup took DH 30 minutes to put together the stroller, The directions were easy to follow!
Overall I would highly recommend this stroller to a new mom!

Solid replacement for umbrella stroller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 kids ages 4, 2 and 3 months so have had the chance to use lots of different kinds of strollers in many configurations. The feature that sets this travel system apart from others is the ability to change the seat from a toddler (upright) seat to a bassinet with just a few simple moves - you don’t even have to remove the seat to do it. Compared to the main stroller we use (a premium double stroller), this one is much lighter and easier to fold which is great for storage and travel. Because it is so light, it does jostle the baby around when using the bassinet configuration more than a heavier stroller would, so you do have to be really careful about going slow over bumps and avoiding curbs, etc. I added a headrest inside the bassinet to help keep the baby in place. There is no cover over the bassinet which isn’t really a problem but if you’ve used other bassinets before may be something that you’d expect. The hood provides somewhat minimal coverage (although the fabric is nice) and we had some trouble getting it to stay all the way extended when using it as a bassinet. Overall I think the travel system is a good value - as a city dweller I don’t think I’d replace my bigger stroller with this one but I would definitely replace my umbrella stroller with this as it is just as lightweight but has way more functionality, including being able to snap the car seat right onto it without removing the regular seat.
