mattress won’t lay flat. not safe

got this at baby shower, was planning to use it for travel next week but the portable bassinet mattress won’t stay flat after washing it following the instructions

Mattress misshapen after washed

We washed the mattress for the bassinet part in the wash as the label said to and now the mattress will not lay flat. I can’t use this- it’s not safe. We just received as this as a gift for our baby/ I’m very disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to break down and set up. Pretty sturdy. Ours didn’t come with instructions on installing the bassinet, but we figured it out looking at the product photo.
