Good storage and great battery

this phone has a lot of memory for the price. battery life is extremely good. have to get used to swiping up to answer the phone :) but i'm sure i'll get it! had to remove a lot of preloaded apps but thats ok. i like this phone, larger than iphone and easier to use

Having a phone.

i have had many cell phones over the years.
this is my second samsung a51. the first one i had less than 3 months and all of a sudden it started one night with "black screen of death", next day almost totally black then that night couldn't see anything at all, therefore before sending it in for the insurance claim i was unable to reset it or clear it. not happy about that.
i have had the new a51 for a couple weeks now and other than new software updates that change the order of things of the phone that i just get used to, it's okay.
i love androids, but if this one fails. it will be my last.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's An Okay Phone

this phone is good. it does everything my old inexpensive galaxy j7 did. the capture screen shot function is awkward. it's hard to press volume key and on/off key at the same time. the swipe doesn't seem to work even though i have the motion feature turned on. i don't like the cost. also, the calender no longer allows me to color code events. this is very disappointing since i had used at least 7 colors which made glancing at a month easy. now everything is blue.
the spek case that was offered with the phone by at&t is junk. i had to buy a better more durable spek case. however the new case's button presses were slightly off and made the volume key difficult to operate. i had to cut the button holes open.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i like how fast it really works and the quality of picture i shot as a test is a lot better than my old one. it was clear even with low light in my leaving room. i am still learning all the bells and whistle of my phone.

constant safe mode - not reliable

we recently purchased the samsung a51 / 5g phone. it constantly reverts to safe mode no matter how you try to resolve it. need to make or receive an important call - forget it. the safe mode either rejects calls no takes messages.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i'm on my 3rd replacement on the phone it loses service constantly it has factory reset itself twice. on both 1st and 2nd device replacements. by the time i recieved the 3rd one i was over the device and switched back to my note 8 with bad battery life. i would rather have my phone hooked up to a charger all day than have a phone that doesnt have service and losing all my pictures and numbers on it constantly. save your money buy something better.
