Wish I had the charger and battery

Lightweight Saw!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thankfully we had another Greenworks tool that used the same battery as we didn’t notice that the battery isn’t included with the saw. Otherwise, the saw works well and is very lightweight. Great for small projects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like that all of the Green works products make you buy a battery and charger separately...and they ain't cheap. Being cordless should have been an advantage but it's like buying two whole different products and unless you have a bunch of Greenworks it isn't worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However, each of our tool only models do state in the title that a battery and charger are not included. Please allow us to clarify why tool only options are available, GreenWorks has different voltage platforms, within these voltage platforms we have interchangeable tools and batteries. Bare tools units or tool only units are ideal for our existing customers who already own a battery and charger in a platform and are looking to expand their collection without having to purchase a unit with the battery and charger. Looks durable

I love the fact that it is battery operated and there is no cord to deal with, but that is also the only reason I give it a 3 star. I ua e not been able to use it yet because I have not been able to get a battery for it. Once I do I will be more than happy to write an updated review. Thank you for my sample!

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this a few times and every time it did not disappoint. The saw without the battery is rather heavy and when you add in the battery it weighs a little more. However when you have it set up to use it moves so smoothly and easily across the wood. The saw blade is very sharp but the guard makes it super safe and manageable. The way the saw is set up it makes it very easy to pop the battery in and out of, which is nice if you use it a lot. I do make sure to clean it up after each use and think that will help the longevity of the product. Clean up is super easy even my younger kiddo could do it. I would recommend this saw for a newbie like me but think you need something a little more powerful for those long harder jobs.

Lightweight and Cordless

The first thing I noticed about this was how light it is compared to my corded skill-saw. Lightweight is a good thing with some of my bigger projects.
However I’m super annoyed that this saw uses a proprietary battery. I got it thinking I could use my two other brand’s batteries but none of them fit. If I invest in yet another battery, that’s three tool platforms that I have to deal with. It’s a pain to remember charging two batteries at the end of the day. Having to buy a battery means the value of the price point is not as great on the surface.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for any job

I can use it anywhere around my yard and never have to worry about staying by an outlet. The battery lasts a good long time and charges up fairly quick. The cuts are smooth and the guide keeps you on track. I couldn't be happier with it. Will definitely recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love, love that this thing is cordless! No more hunting for a plug and dragging a long cord around while doing a project. It’s so easy to use. It holds a charge for a good amount of time and charges fairly quickly.
