Good Drill/Driver Set That is Almost Great

Disclaimer: I was given the drill/driver set by Greenworks to review and keep for free after.
The drill/driver set is a good set that I have used for a variety of projects from simple incidental repairs to building a new garden gate. The drill had no trouble powering through larger diameter holes (3/8" was the largest bit I used) through pressure treated 2x4s. The driver had no issues driving 4" lg deck screws through pressure treated lumber either.
I like that the package comes with two 2ah batteries (instead of the 1.5s that other brands give you) and a charger, and that the included drill/driver bits are interchangeable between the two. The carry bag easily fits all of the contents without any issues closing the bag. I like the inclusion of the light on each device, that was a nice to have on tools at this price point. The weight is very light, but they do not feel cheap.
I only have two issues that prevent me from giving them a 5 star rating. First, there is no bit holder (either magnetic or slot) on either device. I like the included bits, but I've already lost one of them since I had no on-device storage location. The second is the chuck on the driver is a little finicky. It was easy to get out most of my driver bits (the ones that came with it, and others I have), but there were a few (especially the long shank bits) that I have that for some reason the chuck didn't want to lock onto or let go without some extra effort. They work fine in my other drivers, so it is probably the tolerances on this one are tighter.
Overall this will make an excellent starter kit for any homeowner. The light weight and larger starting battery sizes means that you can comfortably use them for hours on end before swapping a battery, and while it is inconvenient not having a bit holder, it is not a deal breaker.

Used both the drill and driver to install 300 linear feet of privacy fence. Both tools worked flawlessly and the batteries went all day. I also like how short the head of the driver is. It makes it easy to get into tight spaces to use

Great Drill / Impact combo. The carrying case make it that more better! fits behind the seat of my truck with no issues in loosing parts or the charger in the black hole. Love the simplified charger as well. This is now my favorite combo pack!! Good job Green Works

Perfect kit for home owners who want to do projects around their house. I used this kit right away to install garage ceiling racks. The drill/driver was light enough to handle above my head for hours. The impact gun has plenty of power to repeatedly drive lug nuts into ceiling joists.

I've accumulated a pretty decent lineup of greenworks yard tools which have served me well and held up very amazingly over the years. So when my black and yellow 18v drill finally bit the dust, I was confident that the greenworks battery technology would be just as rock solid for their power tools, and boy was I right. Whoever designed these drills though of just about everything. From the light feature that has just enough delay to really be useful, to comfortable grips, to the handy belt clip; this drill and impact driver are outstanding in every way. And don't get me started on these batteries and their built in USB charging feature! WOW. Having this kit that comes with a dual charging cradle gives you the confidence you'll be able to tackle any project. I was able to replace all of the boards on my 20x35 deck and never have to worry about my drill not having enough power or torque to get the job done. The drill and impact driver were force multipliers those days.

I bought this drill and impact driver set 3 weeks ago approximately. I use it practically everyday. Both drill and impact are so handy. The batteries last a very long time. I rarely have to charge them. My girlfriend is constantly using around to the house to hang pictures or other nicknacks. Great value and quality!!! Highly recommend. Another side note the batteries are so convenient for an portable phone charger. We charge our phones all the time. Just overall awesome set that every garage and or home needs.
