Very fast PC but NOT exactly as pictured

Video card and cooling are NOT as pictured. This is a very fast PC with superb specs. I bought this as a workstation for use at my business. I needed something that can handle intense graphic design workflow, heavy multi-tasking and moderate video editing. This PC is a solid buy as a pre-built unit when it's on sale for between five to seven hundred dollars off retail.
VIDEO CARD NOT AS PICTURED -- One of the main reasons I purchased this unit is because it's one of the only PC listings on the Best Buy website that has a photo f the back panel so you can see the I/O layout. The photo (at time of purchase and as of writing this review) showed the RTX 2060 Super video card with 5 video outputs (1 x HDMI, 3 x DisplayPort, 1 x DVI-D). However, when I received the PC the included video card ONLY HAS 3 OUTPUTS (1 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort, 1 x DVI-D). While 3 outputs may be sufficient for most users, this was a big disappointment for me.
If you're looking to run more than 3 displays, this is not the PC for you. That being said, the hardware listing within Control Panel confirmed the video card is in fact the RTX 2060 Super. I was able to successfully run 2 monitors simultaneously (with HDMI & DisplayPort) at 4K 3840 x 2160 at 60hz 4:4:4. This will meet my needs for now, but still very disappointed that the number of video outputs was falsely portrayed.
COOLING NOT AS PICTURED -- Another reason for my purchase was for the superior cooling of the CPU. Again, the photo (at time of purchase and as of writing this review) showed a rather large heatsink device in the exploded view of the components. This is NOT what I received. Instead, my PC arrived with a very tiny aluminum heatsink and a small basic fan. I was very disappointed to receive something quite different (and of much lesser quality) than what was advertised in the item photos. So far the operating temperature and fan speed have been ok with my day-to-day usage, but I would suspect if you're using this PC for intense gaming you will experience overheating issues.
Overall, this PC offers good value for the specs. It handles my intense graphic design workflow and heavy multi-tasking usage with ease. My only caution is that you definitely won't receive what is pictured in the item listing photos.

It has great graphics in almost all games and good performance, but if it had better fans and a better cpu fan it would be a lot better. Dell cheaped out on stuff like fans and the motherboard

Have had this product now for one week and so far, it is incredible. Easy to set up, well, pretty much everything took care of itself with only a few minor tweaks for personalization. Have only tried one game so far, and the technical aspects are awe-inspiring; looking forward to exploring many other options. I consider this to be a good buy and I am very pleased.

For the sale price, unbeatable

I was meaning to upgrade my pc these last few months, was planning to build my own as well but with gpus not available, my options were to wait or find a good deal. The good deal came first. The computer has led lighting that you can edit the colours to whatever you want, the powerful hardware allows games to run super fast at the highest graphics too. It also has slots available for storage increase. 4 slots for ram, so if you wish to upgrade so you can have more than 4 chrome tabs open, that’ll be no problem. Its smaller form factor makes it a good choice for people that want a smaller pc, while its still very stylish. There was one problem I cam across though. If you run the thermals under the alienware control centre at balanced, the cpu gets up to 90 degrees which is bad. If you turn on performance mode for thermals, it sounds like a jet taking off. The best way to fix this so you have good operating temperatures while also having not super loud fans is to edit the performance profile and put the fans “offset” to 50%. That way you will maintain between 70-80 degrees, and the computer won’t sound like a jet. It still has some noise but it will always do it. After that fix, its a beast of a machine at the sale price it is, get it before its too late.

Great machine - Had it a month now and plays games on full settings nicely. Nice and quiet fans. Was concerned about small power supply but no issues. My second great PC from Dell & Best Buy :)

Music Production workhorse

So I had the Geek Squad install 64G memory into this little rocket so I could run some large symphonic templates in the ViennaSymphonic Library Ensemble platform and it has exceeded all of my expectations. I installed 2 x 1TB SSD's and I have loaded it right up to around 60 Gigs of samples without a single problem. Unreal. And being the part-time gamer that I am and owning an Oculus Quest 2 I 'Linked" up my Steam account and downloaded the Alex HalfLife VR game and it is a whole new level of immersion that is mind-boggling. So for the price and what I'm using it for - 5 stars...6?

Not being a Comp. Geek ... I had been looking for a NEW PC for Home/Biz Use for close to a year ... wanting a HIGHER SPEED -i7, no fail memory - 1 TSSD ...a Good Memory Card ... a SALE Price ... The 1st. PROBLEM I HAD was trying to BUY "DELL MIGRATE" to move Programs & Data over from OLD COMPUTER to NEW COMPUTER ...IT DOES NOT COME WITH COMPUTER !!! DISAPPOINTING ... Not only that ... BUT IT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN CANADA! only the US!!.... So It took me a # of days & attempts to do move my apps. & data.... P.S. I'd reviewed so many computers, I DID NOT NOTICE THAT THERE IS NO DISC DRIVE! MY BAD! I guess I have to find out if I really need a Disk Drive, and if they are an accessory for THIS COMPUTER!!!!!?????

The day of Black Friday of the year 2020, i bought Dell G5 Gaming computer in Best Buy store, Richmond brench. The sales is a very kind person, who can speak Mandarin. He gave me a detailed explaination about this computer. That is why i made final decision to buy G5.
G5 is also a high quality computer both for gaming and office working. it has no noisy, no heat. it works very fast. i love it so much
