My daughter gifted this to me a few months ago. I needed A refrigerator that would give me more space along with greater freezer capacity. I especially like that the refrigerator is on top with the ample freezer below. This particular design eliminates the need to forage on my hands and knees to see what’s below and in the back. Definitely a design where form follows function. The stainless steel finish gives it an updated look.

I replaced an old refrigerator in my house with this one. Perfect size for a 1br house. Very efficient and quiet; my power consumption dropped considerably. Would have been better if there was a light in the freezer section, but I hardly ever use it, so whatever.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This beautiful refrigerator/freezer is a perfect addition to the remodel of our studio space. It gives us the feeling of a full sized appliance in half-size and accommodates everything we need to cool and freeze.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just updated from the similar LG model that was available in 2007. It ran for 14 years without a hitch until last week the freezer stopped cooling and then the fridge. We are in an apartment in Manhattan with a very limited space for fridge. The new model is beautiful and works extremely well. It’s also very very quiet. When we first fired it up yesterday I was afraid it was broken because it was so silent and took a good 2 hours to cool up (which the manual said would happen).
The exterior is more sleek looking than the previous model, and construction materials seem of higher quality. All in all we are very happy. Additionally, the freezer comes with glass shelves between the drawers so you can skip a drawer all together if you want for more flexible storage.
Quibbles: we miss the thin drawer at the top of the old freezer. It was very convenient for ice and meats being prepped for freezing. Putting ice trays with water into a drawer is messy and annoying. We also miss the small drawer in the fridge that sat below the middle shelf. It was handy for cold cuts and cheeses which now take up other limited real estate.
But all tolled, we are happy with the purchase.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Performance, Quality
We’ve had this fridge/freezer for 5 months and couldn’t be happier — except still not receiving the promised fridge door hinge to open on the left (out of stock everywhere - fridge came with only right-opening hinges). Keeps all types of food fresh for a very long time, it’s incredibly quiet and the tall narrow shape fits our tiny apartment perfectly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I warned my wife that the amount of ice retained in the door was too small for her. She uses a large amount of ice during the day. So much that we can’t fill the ice tray in the bottom freezer. I have bought ice weekly for the bottom tray. What a pain. You should have left the ice maker in the bottom freezer. Also, since we cook a lot, the flat meat draw isn’t ideal when you buy a whole chicken. Other cuts may fit, but we use it for cold cuts and cheese. Although, people that don’t use fresh vegetables could use the vegetable drawers? I am sorry my wife chose this model.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our LG about 3 weeks ago. Love the French doors, the middle convert drawer, and the craft ice feature.
