Sounds good, battery doesn’t last

Only used this twice because I purchased it for the boat. Battery dies after about 2 hours so I’ll be buying a different brand that lasts a full fishing trip

Here are some things to try that often fix short battery life issues. You can try using a different USB charging cable and/or a different USB charger, rated at least 2 amps. Try disconnecting the cable from your product and re-inserting it. Sand or dirt can get into the product’s charging port. Check the port. Clean if needed with compressed air or a toothpick. If the issue persists, contact JBL Customer Service for technical support and assistance.

Outdoors?? Really??

I'm very disappointed, I've had this little speaker for almost a month and as long as I have it in a plastic bag, I'm not afraid to take it outside or in the shower. The power connector is on the top, right next to the loop and there is NO cap on it!! It's an open hole waiting for water to get in and do its damage. Which engineer decided not to put a cap on it and still say it was for outside use??? Fire him or promote him to the shipping department!!!!
I still need an outdoor speaker.

Thank you for your feedback. Our JBL Go 3 has an IP67 Feature that protects the product from submersion in 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. It is also resistant to dust. Please make sure that the unit is dried before charging/ plugging into a power outlet when the unit is exposed to water or moisture. If you need more help, please contact our JBL Customer Support.

Sounds/works great so far. My only concern is that the charging port doesn't have a cover. Since I use this only in the shower I am assuming there is some sort of internal seal to keep water/moisture out.

I bought this for my daughter's 16th birthday as a surprise. She loved it so much personalized with the photo of her and our dog. The quality of sound is amazing and actually sounds like a full size speaker.
