[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great all around laptop. Super responsive and feels amazing to type on. However, I wish that 4k displays were an option for this product.
I am very pleased with this laptop--it runs fast and has good battery life. The screen is bright and the sound is good. I only use it for basic functions, but I could do a lot more with it if needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I am buying an laptop with AMD processor , earlier I used only intel but I did not notice any difference, it’s light in weight , laptop cpu is always cool , never notice any noise from laptop fan due to heating. Best laptop with reasonable price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd thinkpad. Build Quality is not like my old T450 but it's working great. AMD Ryzen is a beast. I am using linux and its working great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Top notch build, like many thinkpads before it, HQ, rubberized-plastic material, that leaves little to no smudge. Not to mention, hinges are awesome for it's class.
If not the best, one of the best keyboards - tactile and high grade utility (feels so good to type on). Average back-lit tech, helps in darker rooms or night.
Above average pad, with great functionality and features.
Display has good visibility, high resolution (at 1080p), and good color reproduction.
Battery life is good for it's size and utility, it isn't the best and most efficient, however, I still rate above average. I use it 1-2 hours/day, throughout the day and go without charging for most of the week. Works well for my use, and I think it would for majority of users interested in this class. Also, charges via USB-C!
Cam shutter is the coolest "little" feature. Its manual and works PERFECTLY.
Ryzen 5, highly recommended. Its a workhorse and has yet to slow up on me. Majority of sets I've had have been Intel, AMD has usually been my secondary choice, this could be my turning point.
Lastly, PORTS! This is one of the few reasons I specifically bought this model at this size. 14", very compact, and great assortment of ports.
Cons: Display brightness, unless you "pay to play", pay more, to get more, the base model gets approx. 300 nits. Works well for most conditions, so I give Lenovo the benefit of the doubt that most users will be just fine; but knowing phones nowadays get 500-1000 nits for comparably the same price, would've like to see 400-500 for the price I paid.
Graphics/Gaming isnt very good, this is a nit-pick since it's not made for such, but I want to mention as some users don't always understand that a rig at this price point has a specific function, and gaming is not really it (unless you're planning on solitaire).
Great except I've got a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen only one month after reception... Overwise beasty cpu and good overall quality (keyboard, ram, ssd...)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
