[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop overall. I love the keyboard. It has great specs. The only issue I have is that I wish it was easier to tell if you purchased the backlit keyboard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with this laptop now that it has actually finally arrived. It performs great, even when running multiple programs/games and looks sleek. The keyboard and trackpad are very comfortable though it would be nicer if the edges of the laptop were slightly more rounded as they sometimes dig into my wrists a little. The fingerprint reader and built in webcam cover are nice little added touches of convenience. The fan is quiet, and it stays fairly cool even when working hard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic build quality and materials, the keyboard is a joy to type on. The webcam is above the average quality. The 400 nits display it's nice, but is has a little bit of gosting, so it is not the best for games, if you want to play. It doesn't get hot when on battery, only a little when charging. The fan is very quiet, and most of the times is off. The battery life is not bad. I use linux so: the led for the microphone is always on, the laptop works well with kernel more recent than the 5.8, I use 5.10 and it works well enough.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the 32gb, ryzen 7 4750U, 1TB ssd configuration. It's very good, durable, and quick. Only thing to note is that I wish the resolution were higher.
Amazing laptop with the usual trusted thinkpad build quality. I opted for a Ryzen 5 4650U which is very appropriate for fast programming and some occasional light gaming. The 400nit low power display is quite color accurate. Overall, extremely satisfied with my purchase. Keep it up lenovo!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keeps in line with the strong ThinkPad tradition that I've been enjoying for 15 years. They say that the battery life isn't as good on the AMD version, and that may be true, but unplugged and under a moderate load it drains almost as slowly as it does with the lid closed unplugged. I would rather have a battery that can work well unplugged than last watching movies unplugged, and this will put in work. I have the 250 nit screen and for indoor use it's plenty. Things I actually enjoy about it are the very even distribution of light and no backlight bleeding.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the design and simplicity! Also that it has an RJ45 port that I need to use for sys admin things.
