So light, it takes getting used to

I owned the Thinkpad 450s for five years. Loved it. I've written two novels on it, along with countless articles. The keyboard is what I love most, but it traveled so well. I took it to China a couple of years ago. So light. I'm in the middle of another novel, and I was worried the T14s would not have a keyboard I liked. It did not disappoint me. This keyboard is actually better. Quieter. Nicer feel. Longer key travel. It work for me, especially when I'm writing 80,000 words in a few months. My only real adjustment is the weight. It is so light that it sometimes moves a little too much on my counter top when I rest my hands on it. I have already adjusted to it. So this is not a complaint. The fingerprint key to the laptop is a little finicky. But I use the four-digit code anyway. Keep making Thinkpads like this one ...

can’t stay connected to dual monitors

Every single time I walk away from my PC and come back, I have to deal with getting dual monitors working against unfortunately I have to use this laptop and Dell monitors at work. If you search the forums, you’ll see this is not a new issue with some Lenovos. I really hate this laptop and would not spend my own money on them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For Windows Updates:
1. Go into your system settings
2. Click on "Windows Update"
3. Click "Check for Updates"
4. Run all recommended Windows/driver updates located here
For Lenovo Vantage Updates:
1. Launch Vantage which is already installed on your system (please search for "Vantage" on your task bar)
2. Click the “Check for System Updates" button
3. Run all BIOS/Driver updates as recommended
