The ThinkPad T14 has some really nice features including a privacy cap on your camera, it runs very smooth and there are multiple trackpad actions that help make the experience of using the Laptop worth it. If there was one think I could change is that I would like for the trackpad to be a little larger.

There's a lot of heat -fan keeps running all the time, WIFI6 is a joke - there's no energy control - system slow wake-up. It's a simplified wifi6. Tech support is for simple hardware issue. All the software has to get charged for a service. The apps launch is bit faster. Also, there's a major concern on the security -The "Lenovo Vantage" is keeping running behind. No one knows if it collects personal or business info. Don't buy it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Practical laptop with focus on performance, reliablity and durabilty. Good value versus other competitors in terms of specs. A good mix for business and personal use.
Will not boot. When I power on I get the famous Lenovo Fan Error. This happened on the first boot and all subsequent boots. This is a brand new machine. No quality control I guess?
