This time I went through with it and anlm absolutely pleased with my purchase. I did go a little crazy on customization, and although Lenovo mentioned 12 weeks for delivery, I got it in 8 weeks. Very happy with the product so far.

The T14 is as great computer, if you are looking at a carbon and need a touchscreen for under $1300 this PC really delievers. Pro: Quick start up, packed with performance for a work PC, weight is good, screen is great, battery life is excellent. Cons: No SIM card slot so I will have to use other means, Needs another USB port.

The laptop is nicely built but a bit on the thick and heavy side, especially compared to the x-series. The keyboard and screen is excellent, microphone and speaker are okay. I have an issue with freezing screens after sleep mode - this is much less the case for hibernation.
Overall I like the laptop but would consider going for an "S" or x-series.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
