[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good laptop thus far. Keys feel nice, arrow keys are a nice size for platforming games. Only issue is the battery life seems a little short, leaving it unplugged and locked for a few hours gets it close to dead. This is probably due to the 240 hz monitor and gpu, however still a good purchase if you plan on leaving plugged in while you game.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first laptop, and I bought it to replace my desktop for Uni. It is quite a powerful little machine, and it seems to be great for gaming, especially any singleplayer game. However, that is where the problem lies. Although the specs are great, and the performance you will get is more that worth the cost, aside from the very meh temps, but the issue is Internet connection. Although your mileage may vary, my model has a really bad time playing any multiplayer game, and having discord open at the same time. My ping will constantly spike, which can make games unplayable. Overall, the Lenovo 5i is a pretty good gaming laptop, at a pretty good price, but you should be aware of the possible wifi and heat issues that may arise.

After a recent bad experience with a gaming laptop from another brand, I was not expecting much, but this machine has been excellent. It works just like it should, performs well, doesn't get too hot. I also like that it doesn't scream "GAMING LAPTOP" by having a flashy case, it just looks like any other Lenovo laptop. I am expecting it to last a long time!
